Looks like a fun morning. Are you sure about that "bird molting"? We get the same kinda thing around here and we call it "pollen". :P

We do have pollen here we are the agricultural bread basket of the world, we also have cotton woods that can really wreak havoc, but right now we have migrating birds in the hundreds of thousands and due to the amount of water we have available they stop and do what birds do including shedding feathers...mostly ducks of every variety, geese, and doves...the quantity is amazing... :!:

Interesting. We have a good amount of migrating foul in these parts as well, might be part of what I'm seeing! We have cotton woods here too and I know that's a big part of it. Allergies are in full force... :|

It's a Tuesday Limited Edition Plook on Tour... :o

Look Who's Golfing...

Got out first early Sunday at about 6:30 AM, it ended being a 100 degree day but was awesome on the course in the morning... 8)

Image

There's a good size Heron living on the course...

Image

It was really nice out...

Image

Image

I played really good shot 41 + 41 = 82 with (7) Pars and (11) Bogeys eliminating Double and Triple Bogeys really keeps your score down...I got new shoes that is probably what made the round so good...

Image

The back is more elevated and they had to water the course... :o

Image

Image

Image

My shot on 14th a Par 3 that was playing about 140 yards over a horse shoe trap, I stuck the landing but rimmed out the 18 foot birdie putt... :P

Image

15th Par 5 hit a good drive to the top of the hill and just crushed my 3 wood to inside 100 yards played my 75 yard wedge shot which went more like 90 yards (I have been working out for over two weeks and it's definitely giving me more distance) I fortunately hit a good flop wedge that rolled down the hill and cozies up to about 5 feet from the cup and I made Par... :D

Well That's All Folks... :smoke:

It's a Plook on Tour Hump Day Special... :D

Let's take a trip in the way back machine...

June 3, 1978 my third day in Oahu, three guys went surfing at Number Three's at 3 o'clock in the afternoon... :o

I lived on the South Shore of Oahu for 3 1/2 months, I lived on Liliuokalani Ave and Cleghorn Street...

Image

Arrow marks the Shack spot and Number Threes is circled...

Image

The building was several one room shacks with a kitchenette and bathroom...

Image

Our shack is marked with an arrow we had 9 surfboards, 5 back packs , and 6 people sleeping there, notice the Mango Tree on the right it was in our yard I ate a lot of Mango's...

Image

My corner at the beach... 8)

Image

Number Threes was the longest paddle out on South Shore it had to be quarter mile or so, view from the reef...

Image

It stays relatively uncrowded since its so hard to get there...

Image

It's a great right with a left that occasionally lines up...

Image

Image

I was able to find a few good images even though there are more photogenic spots on South Shore... :D

Image

Image

Image

Image

My favorite room on South Shore...

Watch your local listings for more Plook on Tour Way Back Machine Episodes... :smoke:
