Another ”hey I need free shipping” thing came up. I had the Ryko edition of Fillmore, so got the Zappa records one. It has one more track. This album, withecgroupie theme, had some really good live versions. And one of the few Return of the Hunchbacked Duke recordings, mistitled under A Little House..
The original track 8 explains the two parts etc.

Amazon withdrew the money a couple of hours ago, so I have now, officially, bought it.

I was shopping on Amazon, I am not a Prime member, so I always look for items to fill and order to 25 dollars. The Zappa items were not all there. For instance Studio Tan is 20 dollars at Zappa.com and only some ridiculous prices on Amazon. So I did not find one, had to order 3 books to get to over 25.

BUT I did find a NEW copy of Sleep Dirt form Z overstocks in UK, so that is coming.

Only missing one disc from that era now. I used to have a copy of the library CD but it was in one of them slim discs and is now lost.

Amazon.de have a 3 CDs for 25 Euro deal, with quite a few interesting Zappa titles. I managed to fill the following (6) holes in my collection for a mere 50 euros:
- Lumpy Money
- Civilization Phase III
- Buffalo

- FZ:OZ
- Wazoo
- Philly '76

I'll readily admit that I wouldn't have bought Lumpy Money and Civilization Phase III hadn't they been on offer.
The other titles I had in downloaded form, but I prefer physical formats. So there

A rare bootleg purchase. Mainly because the Beat The Boots are not very available. Got the Mothers in Paris 68, hoping there are some vocal numbers on it.

I got fooled a bit by Amazon. It was an Amazon purchase, but Amazon UK, so no free shipping.

Other than Zappa.com, I've got Zappa discs from ImportCDs, but the catalog there is small.

Yes I know about Zappateers.

As for zappa.com, I would get just the one album
https://www.zappa.com/music/beat-boots- ... heese-fire

but there are no instructions on how to download or buy it.

Not waiting until March!!
Cancelled Amazon.ca order.
Ordered from Amazon.com for about $6 bucks more.
They took my money, and it's on the way.

Agreed! The thing is I've had this one for a long time on vinyl. Years ago I decided it would be silly to own CDs of albums I already have in record form, IF the CD version was unchanged. Flash forward to now and my "pseudo-completist" attitude has convinced me I do indeed need the CD versions of the majority of releases. Have also been trying to digitize my entire music library and I don't currently have a way to record a vinyl record onto my computer, which also makes the CD version useful.
