^^Great show last night. The band played about three hours including a 20 minute intermission. These guys are an eight piece jam band (with a couple more guests joining in) and stretch the songs out pretty good. I must must say my son has become a bit of a badass on keyboards and also handled lead vocals on four tunes. Got lots of compliments from folks and veteran band members on his playing. Sierra Nevada released a limited edition beer for the event called PilZEN. I’ll be looking forward to the cd release.

He’s playing in Redding too at about the same time. I’m not a Jackson Browne fan though.

^^I’m reading the new biography about Warren Zevon (who I am a fan of) called “Nothing’s Bad Luck”. Jackson Browne figures prominently in his story being involved with the production of some of his early albums and being a close friend.

Just Announced

Alice Cooper is bringing the Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back tour to Australia & New Zealand!

February 2020 to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, th' hell hole that is Auckland and Christchurch.

Hotel's booked, internet roulette for the tickets tomorrow, giving me around 14 hours to decide on my level of investment, ie doing the in$anity package again or not.

The accountant will never understand.....

I'm toying with the idea of maybe doing, both KU.....
I'm already working on my "you can't take it with you" speech

Christchurch geographically for me is either a one hour flight or the preferred, three and a half hour sea voyage across Cook Strait and down through the majestic Marlborough Sounds, followed by a scenic four and a half hour drive along the picturesque east coast of the South Island.....

I was going to suggest he go to Melbourne or Sydney as my teeny tiny American mind thinks New Zealand is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Then I looked at a map.

As I remember though, GG’s trips to the hellhole that is Auckland is quite an undertaking as well.

thanks! it all seems so surreal.
like a wet dream that has recurred after 20 long dry years.

yeah, we couldn't get tickets on presale or the day of sale,
and we were sitting on the clock, making attempts with multiple devices.
in fact, we ended up paying more than the ticket price, but that is just fine.
ya gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette, ya know?
