Todd quote about the upcoming tour.

“I want to do elements of both, the book tour and a regular tour, whenever possible,” says Rundgren during our conversation. “Wherever possible I will do book signings, and in the meet-and-greets I hope to be signing more books than CDs, ideally anyway. The show is a career retrospective, with the first half being songs to support the book. Not necessarily songs written about in the book, but songs from eras that match the content of the book. Then there will be a short break, then a Q and A with the audience, and then the second set that will be different every night. We will have a master list of songs to choose from, and these will be more of the deep dive.”

Sounds good to me.

Todd will be playing Professor Crawford. Doesn't look like he makes it to the end.

I'd say kickass. Being AXS, it was an hour and a half, so several of the cd/dvd/bluray cuts weren't included.
Great sound, visuals, energy, I'll be watching the dvd quite a bit once it comes out.

Also, the Kasim's Utopia show in MKE a week and a half ago was very cool. Kasim pulled out some good stories - did you know he tried out for Hair? He gave away his Archer tour bass that night to a lucky audience member. This one was very jealous.

Been watching and listening to this the last couple days. Really good. They did a great job with the dvd/blu-ray. When I ordered mine a couple days before the release date it was only $19.95 then I noticed it went back up to $29.95 right after the release. Lucky me, I guess.

Great TR concert last night. Todd's voice was spectacular. He hit a lot of high notes throughout the evening.
The band was great! Bobby Strickland really killed it. He played woodwinds of all sizes, along with keyboard, percussion and vocals.

May 10th Los Angeles
Set 1
Intro
(How About a Little Fanfare?)
I Think You Know
Open My Eyes
Hello It's Me
We Gotta Get You a Woman
I Saw the Light
It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference
Black Maria
An Elpee's Worth of Toons
Sometimes I Don't Know What to Feel
Too Far Gone
A Dream Goes on Forever
The Death of Rock and Roll
Can We Still Be Friends
Real Man
Love of the Common Man
Compassion
Couldn't I Just Tell You
Fair Warning
(w/Real Man Redux)

Set 2
Intermission(A Treatise On Cosmic Fire Part Two (Fashionista Video)
The Individualist
(following a video Question and Answer session)
Kiddie Boy
Honest Work(amazing vocals!)
Determination
I Don't Want to Tie You Down
Kindness
Born to Synthesize(long jazzy version w/band solos!)
Drive
Encore:
Just One Victory

Lots of cool video with old photos of Todd w/ other famous musicians, etc.
This tour was as equally awesome as last years Utopia tour.

I should have gone both nights. I would have heard Eastern Intrigue, Bag Lady, Cliche' and Fade Away.

More Individualist tour dates for Nor Cal. June 27 in Folsom and June 28 in Yountville. I probably need to make Folsom happen.

OK Todd fans, you’ve been waiting for this. There is a new David Hasselhoff album being released this Friday, September 27th called Open Your Eyes that features Todd on the song Jump In My Car. I’m eating a hamburger off my living room carpet in anticipation of this one.
