When I went to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame several years ago they had an amazing amount of clothing from a variety of Rock Stars from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's on display and how small everything was...was mind boggling...I don't think anyone weighed over a buck O 5... :mrgreen:

I saw a signed pair of FZ blue jeans on the wall at a casino cafe in either Reno or South Lake Tahoe years ago. On the rear of the pants it was signed:

Butt of Course,
Frank Zappa

Oh, I don’t really remember. Frank was a tall guy (about 6’ I think) but skinny. I think we see a lot of small musicians in general since size isn’t necessary to be a good one. Also more small people probably gravitate to music and the arts as kids since their stature isn’t really well suited to performing well in sports. You don’t hear about too many musicians who were also good athletes when they were young.

AC/DC - Angus Young 5’2”, Malcolm Young 5’3”, Brian Johnson 5’5”
Prince 5’2”
Paul Simon 5’3”
Ronnie James Dio 5’4”
Dolly Parton 5’
Glen Danzig 5’3”
Lady Gaga 5’1”

They mostly had;

Elvis - 6' early cloths still looked small

Beatles - John 5'11" / Paul & george 5'10" / Ringo 5'8"...they had the Sgt Peper suits and they looked real small

The Who - Rodger 5'6" / Pete 6' / Keith Moon 5' 9" / John 6'...somehow they had every famous piece of clothing they wore and they looked small

Jimi Hendrix - 5'11" clothes looked small and even his couch was tiny...they had it... :mrgreen:

Fleetwood Mac - Stevie Knicks 5'1" her clothes looked like gnomes wore them

Rolling Stones - All average height again small clothes and they had every famous outfit you could think of

Jim Morrison - 5'11" and his famous leather jacket looked so tiny

Bruce Springsteen - 5'10" again his leather jacket was very small looking

Michael Jackson - 5'9" and I think they raided his closet they had his small looking clothes from every era...they had The Glove in a super secure display case, for some reason it looked big, go figure... :smoke:

Other features of note;

The complete "The Wall" set from the original tour...that was huge... :!:

Elvis's 50 something Pink Cadillac...it looked like a Pepto-bismol salesman could have drove it... :mrgreen:

Bruce Springsteen's early 50's Corvette...it was awesome... 8)

The first 3 electric guitars made of 2x4's and nails... :shock:

The actual complete famous Motown studio...can't remember which one sorry... :?

There was a lot of stuff if I can remember more I will let you know, I may have wrote about it at the time in Plook on Tour it was probably 7 or 8 years ago, I have a cup somewhere and a shirt that probably is to small now...the circle is closing in... :D

^^^I used to have a photo of you, me, Happie, Ed, and Nick in a bar in Reno when we took that trip to see ZPZ I think in 2011. You were wearing your R&R HOF shirt. That photo burnt up in the fire along with everything else. :|
