As many of you know KU's property was all lost in the Camp Fire, he not only had a impressive memorabilia collection but a massive music library including all things Frank Zappa.

I was fiddling with an idea and tinkamok PM'ed me with the exact same idea so it must be a good one.

Most of us have duplicate CD's of FZ for various reasons and I am willing to part with mine to assist in getting KU some Zappa music to start his new collection, lets get a Commitment List of CD's going and I will set up a mailing address for them.

I know for sure I have "We Are Only In It for the Money"

I may have more but my music collection is currently a hot mess, but I had planned on sorting it out next week.

tinkamok has the follwing:

Sleep Dirt cd (2012 - vocal free )
Buffalo cd sealed
The torture never stops dvd sealed

Please add to the Commitment List if you can while I come up with a location for them to go...

Plook, why don’t you just have things delivered to you and then we can hook up. I’m bouncing around between relatives’ houses right now and it will be awhile before I find a place of my own. I still have my Paradise address but I have to go wait in line for an hour and a half with all the other evacuees at the Chico post office every time I want to pick up my mail. I don’t plan on doing that more than once a week.

I stopped by the little record store in town today and bought YCDTOA, Vol. 1. I now own one Frank Zappa cd. Twelve days ago I owned about 115. Life can be funny sometimes. Anyways, I’m back in business. I’m getting ready to go check out an apartment about half a mile from Plook’s house. Things are getting weirder by the minute.

Hahaa... when my boyfriend told me we were collecting Zappa albums, he said "why would you do that if he doesn't have a house to put it in? I'm sure he has other priorities."

Congratulations on your purchase!

I think it is symbolic of how appropriate it is to restart you collection with this of any random title, but for Freak Out! Besides it is a great record, it has a little bit of almost everything and it has arguably one of the best Zappa performances on tape, Big Swifty...
