I'll buy the cd set of course, but add me to the list that hopes the 96/24bit files come out as a download option, or are included in the boxset. Those of us with good DACs have been spoiled by Halloween '77. more Zappa in hires, please.

This is available as a digital download from amazon.com. You get one track instantly. The advantage is that the shows are complete and continuous. But if you're not in the US you can't buy it because of territorial music industry bullshit. The digital download is not on amazon.co.uk and the box is marked as unavailable. (I still wouldn't be able to buy the digital download from amazon.co.uk.)

I want the digital download but I can't buy it. What the fuck??!!

Holy crap, I just checked apple music and it's there! RDNZL from show 1, 12/9/73 is available to play. Listening as I type.

Same applies. I can't buy it from the US iTunes store and it's not up on the OZ iTunes store.

I don't see it at all in the iTunes store, but it's showing in apple music with the downloadable track. I take this as an indication the entire box will be available for streaming, just as the Halloween box is. I took the apple music plunge in September and am approaching the end of my 3 month free trial. I'm going to continue with the subscription.

Same again. Apple Music is also territorial. It's not available in Apple Music in OZ.

So if files will be available digitally, then surely it might be possible to let us have the 24bit 96KHz wav(that's normally what the vaultmeister likes to sample the tapes in) files??

Hey I'll still purchase the box set, perhaps a digital download code could be supplied with the box sets if they absolutely have to be CD only. Then everyone is happy!!!! :)

I haven't heard it, but I understand it's the same version as released on Roxy By Proxy (albeit the new Craig Parker Adams mix).

Hold it hold it! You can't possibly have not heard the song yet? Good god, that's inexcusable. :)

Yes, I believe it's the same version. Definitely better sounding on Apple Music.

So, the digital download has finally appeared in the iTunes store in OZ, so I excitedly preordered it, except that they're not providing the immediate track.

And what the hell is going on with the £79.99 price for the box on amazon.co.uk?? That's just nuts.

Amazon.ca has it for $70.96 CDN and free shipping. ($55.13 USD)
(as opposed to HiFi 24-7's price of $59.98 + $20.99 (shipping) = $80.97 USD)

Amazon.ca just lowered the price to $62.38 CDN and free shipping. ($48.97 USD)
Merry Christmas!

I see, when you click on the pre-order link, at Zappa.com, for the CD box, you can no longer pre-order it!
(amazon.ca is now listing it as "unavailable".)

Lotta pre-ordering going on. I still think it strange the pre-order link on Zappa.com no longer lets you pre-order the box....

Ordered - all that's left is the waiting. This release is a great idea, exactly what I waited for and so glad they didn't gussy it up and charge a small fortune for the super-duper deluxe magnifico version. Pre-ordered the 40th Anniversary Jethro Tull Heavy Horses while I was at it
