Word on the street is that Feeding Monkeys... will be released on limited yellow vinyl for Black Friday Record Store Day 2015. Not the most popular FZ release, but I would definitely buy it.

I haven't got that one yet but seeing I enjoy DMT, CP3 & JFH I think I'll go for this release.

If I remember correctly it was evoked in the liner notes. (not the RSD release, but the fact they would consider issuing it on vinyl).
Frank imagined it as an Lp in the first place, with tracks 1 to 3 - the two remaining tracks being bonus added by the ZFT for the CD edition.

If they want to do something special, I suggest this LP --

Hot Ritz

Side 1
Envelopes
Drowning Witch
What's New In Baltimore

Side 2
Moggio
Sinister Footwear
Clownz on Velvet (w/Al di Meola)

Yeah, I know, we need an official release of the whole show, but that Hot Ritz LP would be a neat little treat, too...

Is this the 'new' artwork for this possible vinyl release?

damn cool. I like the art. it's dated 1985. so fz approximated the title, it seems.

Here's the text from the one sheet. Cover posted is correct.

Artist/Title:
Frank Zappa // Feeding The Monkies At Ma Maison (Coloured 12” Vinyl)

8 24302 00121 9
Cat. #:
ZR00121
Price Code:
MM
Order Due: Oct. 29th
Release Date: Nov. 27th

“Feeding The Monkies At Ma Maison” is a work originally intended for vinyl by Frank Zappa and realized on his Synclavier. (Consider Zappa’s Grammy Award winning “Jazz From Hell” as an introductory prequel, having been created earlier in the same year.)
Cut directly from 1630 Digital Master by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering, 2015.
First time the 3 performances will appear on vinyl.

TRACKLISTING: Feeding The Monkies At Ma Maison / Buffalo Voice / Secular Humanism

Pretty low turnout at my local vinyl emporium. I showed up an hour early and there was no one there. I've never been first in line before! Got Monkies #4292 and the B.B. King 10", plus a coupla cheap goodies from the used bins.

I never do RSD, I always hit it the day after and have mostly found what I'm looking for. I call it "RSD cleanup" :)
Heading downtown tomorrow, so I'll check it out and see if I can find:
Monkies(yes, I said this is a pointless release, but the art is awesome, if it's under $20 will be hard to turn down)
Ween - The Pod(their lo-fi masterpiece, on clear vinyl)
V/A - The Color Of Noise 2LP soundtrack
Waylon Jennings - Live in '79

Sunn O))) puts out some high quality coverart. Their new album is no exception. Not so easy to get good pix of though.

I don't suppose anyone here scored the Pink Floyd mystery release. That's going to be a hell of a collectible.

Went to Record Archive in Rochester NY yesterday. They had like 8-10 copies of Monkies vinyl. Passed on it, and instead went with a pristine YCDTOSA Sampler double-vinyl, for the same price of $20. Way more bang for the buck. The store still has RSD stuff leftovers from 2 yrs ago, so eventually I'll grab "Monkies".
So stoked to have this Stage sampler on LP. Had heard it years ago on cassette. Also picked up a nice orig London vinyl of ZZ Top's "Rio Grande Mud" for $15. Better deal than the "new" Warners 180 gr reissue for $25.
