JCB was a great guy- The Indian of the Group was such a Texan, and hardcore about it. I would love to know if he ever wrote about his experiences with FZ. I was lucky enough to meet the man in the early 80s when the JCB Experience or whatever the hell it was called, played Houston. His son was drumming, while he did some good but kinda goofy R&B and R&R. I invited him over to my table with my date for drinks between sets ("Yer date's fuckin' beautiful man, no shit!" he exclaimed when she went to the toidy). I talked with him about all sort of Z and CB related things. He was a great, naturally funny guy. The kind of guy you strike up a conversation with at a bar, and he keeps you chuckling the rest of the evening.
