I think I found a album credit error. Pardon me if this old news.

On ycdtosa vol 4, disc 2, I don't think that this is the correct band that is playing Pogen (cut 7). The band credited is the 79 band. The 1st vocal sounds like Nappy. It sure is not Ike (who can be heard later in the song) or Denny. Nappy was not in the band at that time nor is he listed in the credits. And it doesn't sound like the rest of the band that is credited either - wrong kind of drumming, etc.

My guess is that fz intended to swap versions, but there was a mix up. I would love to hear the version that is credited!

Anyone know anything about this?

it's two versions spliced together...

first part is the 1974 band, then it's goes into the 1979 band about halfway through. he obviously forgot to credit the '74 band, or just wanted to test people..

i think he was also putting the latter cd's of this set together while he was ill, so he might have had other things on his mind....

I found an album credit error, also. One of the albums accidentally refered to that crap as music.
