I've been trying to post some YouTube links on the general message board. They are videos of me singing along with Frank, in the admittedly unlikely hope that Dweezil will see them and invite me to join the band. I know my dream is an unlikely one, but it becomes downright impossible if my links are not even posted. Sho' would appreciate an explanation...

To make sure new members are not spammers, they are very limited in what they can do for the first 10 posts. Your links won't show because if you were a spammer, the links would be to dubious sites.
After 10 posts, the admin will decide if you are worthy or not. If accepted, you can post links.

You might want to post some of your videos on dweezilzappaworld.com too, if your lookin' to join DZpZ. They're keyboardist Chris North started posting videos of himself playing FZ's compositions on DZ's site and Dweezil gave him an audition and a job. He (Chris North) also does a killer version of Whippin' Post and he's still touring with DZpZ this summer/fall.

Good luck & don't pay any attention to what a DZW member "Gary" might say, and he will say something as he fancies himself as some sort of deranged ambassador and authority person of interest on that sight. Which he's neither. We know him as "Trendmonger" here.

Welcome, from your videos it looks like you'll fit right in. jpd's right, you'll be able to post after 10 posts and one of the administrators OK's you as non spamming entity.

Thanks to Just Plain Doug for the most reasonable explanation, and thanks to the Kap'n for the tips and the words of encouragement. I WILL check out Dweezil's site and try to post on it and keep follering my dream! (In spite of what Gary may have to say)
