4:20 used to be the time school ended somewhere in CA, USA, when some high-school (quiet literally) kids used to gather outiside to smoke Cannabis sp. Since then there has been a symbolic association with the numbers 420, 4:20 or, in this case, 4/20 (which in our notation here would be 20/04 anyway) and marijuana...

There are alot of different stories as to the orgins of 420,but the one that I'm talkin' about is CA.senate bill 420 that legalized pot in CA.(under an ounce on the streets and 6x6 growing space at home for medicinal purposes*)


*The amount you can grow for medicinal purposes varies from county to county,where as the under an ounce on your person is state wide.)

I think you might be mixing them up with the Neighborhood Watch and one of those vigilanty's actions.Those guys don't wait for you to go to school to shoot you.They'll take you down anywhere,especaily if you question them or in their eye's you "look suspicious".Then it's blam,blam,Neighborhood Watch 1-Visitors O.
Then they get to say they're so sorry (about killing an unarmed 17yr old) and get sympathy bail.To me that's like convicting yourself under oath.It's a crazy world out there and all the politcal rhetoric just scares people more.It's gonna lead to sympathetic jurors aquitting killers,because they were fearing for their life.BTW:Gun sales have skyrocketted since.I guess they all think they can shoot anyone and get away with it because,hey,they're scared and a feared for their pathetic little lives!

Thanx for remembering the Kent State killings jpd,I was tryin' to skip ahead to now.But we can't forge ahead without remembering the past or we are doomed to repeat it.Good call,IMHO.............
