I'm old enough to have listened to it in the seventies. But, I was shy about singing at parties. The ridicule mostly. :)

Not me! I sing along with or without a party! :o

Ha ! You guys are right. Of course these pictures sucks. I sat on the other side of the room with my tiny cellphone. Near the bar :D And yes. Everybody sang lalalala to Peaches. Ray told us so ... It was a nice ending for a great eve.

What can I say about the band and the musicians ? Most of them are Ex-Zappa band members. They are still fantastic. It's not possible to point somebody out. Although I enjoyed especially listening to Bobby Martin (Whipping post) and Ray White (You are what you is). The guitar solo in Whippin post was replaced by a stunning organ solo. Dupree's paradise gave everybody a chance for a solo. I liked Tom Fowler's the most. He looked really good by the way. Once Bobby Martin conducted the band in a typical Zappa style. And in the best audience participation tradition they brought a woman from the audience on stage in order to conduct single band members. Quite nice. In the end the audience sang along Peaches 8)

Oh yes, the audience. I'm 52 and I felt really young that evening

I found a list from the tour. Care to explain the 'mind meld' thing? It says TF first. Bass Solo in Baltimore?

I've sang it with FZ & F & E & even Ponty and all the people at all the concerts I've seen FZ at (well some of us anyway) went laaa,la,la,lalala,la,la too. :D

EDIT: If TWF Ray told you too....you do it. Right? :D

Is this FZ's only fruit song or did the vegetables take over his mind?

Looks like Jamie and Chad are out. Robbie Mangano and Joel Taylor are in. These are the only changes in the line up for the 2015 fall tour.

Thanks. I knew there was another drummer for a festival gig.
