Hound Dawg Music Issue One, Zappa and the freak Scene special issue, coming in November
Formerly an online magazine, Hound Dawg Music is a new print publication starting in November 2013, released every four months.
The first issue features pieces on the early days of Zappa and the Mothers.
Also features a Q and A with Essra Mohawk (on working with Frank), Carol Kaye on Freak Out!, unpublished Zappa snaps by Heinrich Klaffs, and a long interview with Pauline Butcher, Zappa's secretary. Plus Tony Palmer talks the madness of "200 Motels".
Also in the issue:
Large feature on Larry Wild Man Fischer, including fascinating interviews with Bill Mumy (Barnes and Barnes), and Dr Demento speaking about the life and work of Larry.
Also an interview with John "Drumbo" French, who talks about Zappa, Beefheart and Trout Mask....

Plus pieces on Skin Alley, Trees and Syd Barrett!
