Thank you for posting that Bonny, the answer is Winston is still missing now for almost 2 months I posted him on a community board on-line, contacted animal control every week for 5 weeks, canvased the neighborhood before the shut down, and posted posters in key locations...those are still up, from information I gathered there is some sick person who captures and either kills or releases in the country...which is the same as a death sentence for most domesticated cats, I would give Winston a better than 50% chance due to his size 24 lbs and nearly 2.5 feet long (not counting his 18 inch tail) and his hunting skills he was a master of catching mice, rats, and birds...thank you for asking, I am trying to move on because the loss of a pet is so painful...they have your heart like an innocent child.

Happy Easter!

A Trip in the Way Back Machine...

CORRECTION!... :!:

Terri and I had calculated which Friday night in April we meet many many years ago and through some intense calculating we determined it was April 7, well I was talking to my Bro Dale and he said look up the old Budgie schedules on line (we knew they made an album but I never purchased it, probably will now), so I did and what I saw almost made me through-up...The Friday night was April 21, 1978 we went to the late show and got to their apartment at probably just before midnight which means most of the time we spent together would have been on April 22, 1978 the day we met...Terri passed away on April 22, 2014 36 years to the day when I met her...it makes me feel ill every time I think about it, fucking mind boggling shit...I know it's a week away but I had to make the correction I hate being inaccurate and this is huge as far as I am concerned, so there it is...

April 21 1978... 8)

Seldom can one remember what they were doing on specific day a long time ago...but I know eactly what I did 42 years ago today...

It was a Friday I had went surfing early that morning and still worked a full shift that day. I was 19 skating, surfing, and working every day if possible, I was dating girl that went to Downey High School where the freeways meet. She was 16 going on 17 and before you judge me this was actually quite normal at that time, her mom liked me and we were beating the boots and everyone knew it and no one cared.

I had tickets for a Budgie concert at the Whiskey A Go Go, all my friends were going but Debbie and I were going in her moms car separately. When I got home that evening after stopping by the a local pool to skateboard Debbie had called and said she had came down with something and she was really sick and couldn't go.

Well that was a wrench in the works I knew I couldn't squeeze in any of the other vehicles since they were all full beyond max load, plus I had an extra ticket, what to do? I had to find a likely candidate who had a ride and would take the offer on a dime, there were several candidates because our posse was very large, maybe close to two dozen in our inner circle, therefore our extended group of friends was at least 100 to 200 people.

Roger immediately came to mind because he was the guitar player in a popular local Garage Band that played cutting edged rock (for the time) and in fact was the headliners at my 18th birthday party (we had 3 bands, but that's another story). Of course Roger agreed and we went to the show Budgie blew the lid off as always and that show actually is a live album they released.

Roger really liked the show, whats not to like about the original Speed Heavy Metal Band, so we drove back to Norwalk got off the 605 Freeway and were about to turn left for my moms house when he looked at me asked, "would you like to go to my girlfriends apartment, she has a roommate?" Well being a young red blooded American Boy I said yes and we turned right instead of left.

The roommate was Terri, it was that seldom seen thing called love at first sight (lets not kid ourselves it was at least 50% lust at first sight) Rodger and and his girl Rose went in her room and Terri and I talked for hours and horsed around a little with some making out but I moved cautiously, I knew this was the girl I could spend some time with. I would have never guessed it would turn out to be 36 years, I called Debbie and broke up with her the next day and began a mission to win a girl.

I can tell you this, I would have never imagined on a day so long ago that a random turn of a car to right instead of to left could change my life so profoundly and lead me to such a wonderful being that enriched my life so much, I still thank God to this day that we made the right turn.

A Plook on Tour Wednesday Special... :o

I got to go Golfing Sunday...

Plook ready top go...

Image

The early morning course was awesome... 8)

Image

Image

These 3 pictures show the green on number 5 challanging long par 5 dog leg right with a lot of trees and then drop into a green protected by water on the left and a deep sand trap on the right, the green is very deep, steep, and challenging...I landed my third shot on the top tier giving me a good look at birdie, I also captured a real birdie in theses photos a Blue Heron popped out of the pond...it's kind of a where's Waldo thing...

Image

Image

Image

Alone but not lonely... :D

Image

The look from my drive on #10 a tough par 4 right angle dog leg left landed my drive perfectly to get a good look from 150 yards out at the green... :)

Image

The 6 weeks of no golfers allowed the gounds keepers to make the course into grass perfection, view from #12 Tee Box... :!:

Image

My second shot on the long par 5 13 a dog leg right with all sorts of trouble, I had 145 into the elevated green and pulled it left but I got out of there with a bogey...

Image

15 is a long dog leg left up a giant hill and down to the green with troubling water hazards on both sides, I ended up on in 4 with this slippery down hill left to right breaking put for par...

Image

This is my tee shot on 18 a very difficult dog leg right par 4 that requires your tee shot to go over water surrounded by trees, coming into 17 I was only 3 over on the back 9, I double bogeyed 17 and I managed to double bogey 18 even with this beautiful drive... :P

Image

Well that's all Folks...!!!

Haha, a search for Honey Badger, motivated by you, led me to read about Gunga, the Lion's Guard character (a children series based on Lion King) and the next moment I see your post!

Lately I don't listen as much to Zappa as I hear this: "Three little kittens they lost their mittens and then begun to cry"...

Nice one, take good care.

I'm trying to come up with a name, so lets get some feedback, the three high runners are:

1) Winston Parker II

2) Richard Parker

3) Reginald Parker
