Well, I took yer advice. The piggy bank is intact, but I'm going to Roger Waters in Milwaukee next weekend.

Closest thing to a sure deal I can think off, where is the show and what did the seats set you back... :?:

BTW - Milwaukee is an awesome city plenty of awesome restaurants that spill onto the river, just freaking beautiful there at night... :o

The show is at the Bradley Center, where the Bucks currently play. (New Bucks bldg going up next door) I've never been there, but assume it will be something like the United Center. We are across from the stage in the highest tier of seats, but in the front row of that section. Seeing the pics you sent, I think that'll be pretty good. Nowhere near the stage, but good for the overall production.
As for $$, it was too much, but I didn't go crazy, there was one price-level below me, hahaha.

My view should be something like this:

I went to a Rolling Stones stadium concert where our seats were literally behind the stage, we watched the whole show on a big screen that was so close it was just a bunch of giant coloured dots moving about. At one point a chunk of the stage with the four lads on it trundled out into the audience so we got to see the Stones from behind.....the tickets were some kind of Visa credit card holder special deal.....after the show I got the dvd from the merch' table to see what I had missed

I got to see them from the front several years later. 8)

AG and I went to a River Bar west of my place on the Sacramento River and met with her local motorcycle buddies, had dinner and went to her best motor cycle girl friends house and chatted until late into the night, really had a good time them reminisced on trips to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, as well as various runs in California and one to Idaho in which they got caught up in a volcanic event at Craters of the Moon National, that was hilarious story... :D

We had a good time and I was the designated driver so I only had 2 beers, but dam that staying up late just kicks my ass since I get up so early every morning...

Tomorrow is the Hall & Oats / Tears for Fear gig... :o

I was woke up in the wee hours this morning by a call from the Daughter Plook the Elder and her husband was taken to the hospital by ambulance, he woke up early this morning and went to the bathroom and then passed out and she couldn't wake him first responder's got there and his blood pressure was super low.

Thank fully his parents were there and could watch the new baby and Amelia well my daughter rushed to the hospital, he seems fine now and they are doing a battery of tests to rule out the heavy hitters but they mentioned that it is common for men over 30 to pass out after the urinate if they wake up in the middle of their sleep period...I had never heard of this but apparently it is a common problem that has no known cause...

Micturition (or post-micturition) syncope is fainting during or, more commonly, immediately after urination due to a severe drop in blood pressure. Micturition syncope is most common in older men and usually occurs at night after a deep sleep.

The exact cause of micturition syncope isn't fully understood. But it may be related to opening (vasodilation) of the blood vessels that occurs when getting up and standing at the toilet or that occurs at the rapid emptying of a full bladder. This is thought to result in a sudden drop in blood pressure.

It is common - and in our water-rich country it sadly is a nasty cause of death for men who, say, went out boozing, then pass into the canals, pass out and fall into the canals, and drown.
