LOL, that would be easy...they re-orged and we landed in a no access no mans land and we have a new Global Tracking system we will switch to next month and we can not access the training without going throw a maze of bullshit, plus I got hit with a Quality Audit request and that is creating it's own set of issues to the PM not doing there job correctly, and on top of all that I have my normal work load to complete in 4 days instead of 5... :x

One way or another I think I've been part of a skeleton crew almost my entire working life.....Come to think of it, during my school holidays, as a callow youth I accompanied my father to his work over the Christmas period when he was working as part of the skeleton crew, so by default I've been on the skeleton crew since I was five!

Sounds like you need a holiday from the holiday Plook

I strategically played the work card this morning, neatly sidestepping some loosely organized family activities that at best would end in tears or at worst would end in a drunken brawl. I snuck back into the house unseen a couple of hours earlier than I had anticipated, I thought I was golden as I opened a cold beer and revved up the ps4. I was deeply involved in a bit of high speed Gran Turismo when I was sprung by my nephew, cunning little son of a gun had faked a headache to get out of whatever holiday torture his folks had cooked up for the day.
The kid's got a serious future in acting if he can fool his mother [the headache queen] with that old excuse. So the cool old uncle Gray Ghost and the smart arse young Ginger Ghost are going to hideout, undetected in the metaphorical secret basement for just as long as is humanly possible to avoid anymore of the Christmas shenanigans than is necessary. Now, if only I can find a video game that the little ginger ninja can't beat me at

As an introvert, I can say that your lifestyle wears me out just reading this thread. Glad to have you there though for some of the times I choose to step out. Happy New Year to you and AG!

I barely have service where we are staying...

We arrived yesterday and hung out at the beach, kind of hard not to when your room is 50 feet from the water... 8)

Last night we went to Nicks and ate then had a couple of drinks and ended up dancing until midnight, band was really good with a flamboyant black women as lead singer ... :D

We met some really cool and interesting people, this place is old school and all the characters show up, we had a smashing time... :smoke:

We had a bang up time yesterday, ate a killer breakfast at Nicks, our reservation wasn't until 9 pm so we had time to kill.

Went to Pacifica and then on to Half Moon Bay did some touring and stopped at some cool artisan shops... :D

Made are way to Mira Mares a one time boot legger location AG had clam chowder and I had crab cakes it was awesome... 8)

Watch the sunset hung out a couple hours and met some folks eventually went to dinner and AG had lobster and I had halibut it was glorious... :o

Did some dancing and socializing, we were outside having a smoke at about 11:15 chatting with the doorman who was hilarious, when they noticed a balloon floating around by the break water rocks about 20 feet away...I said you better make sure a body isn't attached to it everyone laughed and I said I watched a few episodes of 48 hours, we walked over and sure enough a gal was laying face first over a rock...

To be continued...

Actually the Body was going by "Good", the Doorman asked hey "are you ok?" No response..."Hey are you ok?"..."I'm good", the Body responded ...the Doorman responded "you don't look good your hanging over a rock right by the ocean, what's your name?"..."I'm Good" responded the body..."what's your name?"...I'm Good"..."Ok Good we need to move you over by the building away from the danger"..."I'm Good"...

The Doorman got a security guy they questioned Good with little success at first and found out she was extremely intoxicated and was waiting for her friend that went in to get another friend so they could leave...(her friends were inside partying and had no intention of leaving this outstanding party before midnight)...

They kept telling her they would help her get on a bench by the front door and would bring her food and water but she had to make the first move as legally they could not put their hands on her first ...

We saw Good outside on the bench for some time and later after midnight when we were chatting with yet more people we met we saw her walk by with a coat over her shoulders and crying like she found something out that was not good, my Crapdetector was registering "Romantic Betrayal" of some sort...a often seen action on New Years Eve...

This last minute New Years Eve plan turned out to be an awesome idea, AG and I had two nights of great fun and two days of awesome beach life...film at eleven...
