Let's see. So far this year I took my son to see the Hologram show in Red Bank, NJ.

Just bought tickets to take my wife and son to see Herbie Hancock at The Beacon Theater on August 1. Can't wait to see and hear Vinnie again.

I'll be buying my wife tickets to see Lenny Kravitz at Radio City on August 27. This I do for her.

I also plan on taking my son to see Felix Pastorius and the Hipster Assassins at the Iridium Jazz Club on May 22. My son's hero is Jaco. I took him to see Felix once and he was blown away by him so if we can make it, I'll take him to see that show.

And I also want to see Dweezil for like the 8th time doing the Hot Rats tour. And my son said he'd like to go so that should happen. We'll probably do the Newton, NJ show since I've heard less than positive things about Bergen PAC.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Tomorrow (Tuesday) I'm going to see Maceo Parker at the Blue Note with an old friend from my elementary school days. We had a band together as teens and went to summer camp together for 4 years. It's been at least 5 years since we've seen each other.

And I'm sure other shows will pop up along the way. And I may take my wife to see Macy Gray at the Iridium as well although she said she would prefer to see Lenny Kravitz. My feeling is why not see both?

I'm still trying to understand how this site works. I have 11 posts. A couple days ago I created a post for this thread of the shows I have seen or will be seeing this year. Since creating my post another post was added to the thread but mine remains missing. I don't seem to understand why there is a delay of several days between the creation and posting of new posts. What am I missing? I belong to several other forums and posts are added immediately.

They're playing the same theater I just saw TR at.
Can't make this one. Saving for The Bizarre World of FZ.

Ok. I’m locked in for the Winery Dogs May 28th in Sacramento and Todd Rundgren June 27th in Folsom. Still hoping to see the Bizarre World of FZ, Adrian Belew, and Deep Purple later in the year.

I saw Ike Willis with Zappatika the other day. Nothing I've to do again. It was a little bit sad.
Tomorrow I'm going to see Element of Crime. A band consisting of old german men, singing about old men & old women, prefered by older people, who understand german.

The Tubes are touring this year playing The Completion Backwards Principle Album In its entirety. A couple of Nor Cal dates so far, at the Jackson Rancheria and Resort August 29th and the Mountain Winery in Saratoga September 28th. I’ve been to the Jackson venue before and I don’t like the room. It’s just like a big cafeteria with a stage on one end and they place regular chairs in rows throughout the room. Unless you sit right in front you’re screwed. Never been to the Saratoga venue before but seeing a show at a winery sounds a little too hooty tooty for me. Hopefully, they add some shows at closer and better venues as there is a lot of space between listed dates so far. We’ll see.

^^^^^ I hope that pans out KU ^^^^^

Metallica November 2nd and now U2 November 8th, that's a little too much hell hole that is Auckland exposure for my liking, but what are you going to do.

I saw Fishbone and Red Hot Chili Peepers at the 1980 LA Street Scene, they came back out after their sets and played together, it was total mayhem... 8)
