We've got Gold placed tickets for the may 9th show in Lyon, France. Can't wait. Gonna have to make a detour to Ardèche to pick up some of the organic weed they specialize in down there.

Set 1:

Set Two:

The Kick Ass Band
(to the best of my knowledge)

Roger Waters – bass, lead vocals, guitars, politics, fist bump
Dave Kilminster – guitars, bass, talk box, backing vocals
Gus Seyffert – guitars, bass, keyboards, backing vocals
Jonathan Wilson – guitars, keyboards, lead and backing vocals
Drew Erickson – piano, keyboards, Hammond organ
Jon Carin – piano, keyboards, programming, lap steel guitar, guitars, lead and backing vocals
Ian Ritchie – saxophone, additional bass
Joey Waronker – drums, percussion
Jess Wolfe – lead and backing vocals, percussion (from the band Lucius)
Holly Laessig – lead and backing vocals, percussion (from the band Lucius)

Fantastic body shaking sound, (Roger is apparently still researching the use of the brown note) stunning visuals that just kept on coming, cried like a baby on more than one occasion (blamed the fog machine) met some very very nice front row people, we all pooled our resources and by the time Roger arrived our little "party" was well and truly peaking.....sang our little heads off and danced our not so little feet off, and the years fell away.....our merry bunch partied on until the wee hours, we boogied back into the hotel at around 5:00am..... 8)

10 out of 10.....

The actual road trip portion of our little adventure achieved legendary status for the combined age (666) of the participants alone. Among the cohort we had a three cracked ribs a sprained ankle a couple of low blood sugar diabetic events an unexplained black eye and more than one life threatening coughing fit bought on by extended bouts of unbridled laughter.....I myself came through exhausted but physically unscathed, mentally, well, only time will tell..... 8)

Nobody died.....

10 out of 10.....

Just picked up two seats for OREGON with Ralph Towner, Paul McCandless, Paolino Dalla Porta and Mark Walker. I saw Ralph many years ago and his guitar playing was jaw dropping amazing. Listening to his latest album you realize that he's gotten better.

I'm getting excited, I've gone the whole hog.....the guitar master class + Q & A session including photos and autographs, the sound-check and the show.....

I'm hoping to keep a low profile at the guitar class, but I'm taking the Roxy SG along which might just blow my cover  I'm getting stage fright just thinking about it.....

Enjoy yourself Daveo'!

I did!

Purchased Steve latest album "The Night Siren" at the merch table.

The band played a 50 min. set. Then, after the break, 95 minutes of Genesis. New bass player sounded great.
