hello hello hello!!!! <br><br><br>basically, there's a version of The Black Page, played on Synclavier, and i have no idea where to find it, or how rare / $$$$$ding it is. <br><br>The only information I can find on it is from the allmusic.com music guide. It reads as follows:<br><br><br><br>Hence, it must have come free with a magazine, but, Which magazine????<br><br>Can anyone help me??????<br><br><br>muchos gracias and slanted smiles  :-/

I got it in "Keyboard" magazine.  FZ was the cover story and I think the lead article was called "Synclavier Sampling on Jazz from Hell."  I think it was in 1988.  I remember the cover was yellow with FZ's pic in b/w.<br><br>VCF<br><br>Edit: I found the mag at home last night.  It was the February 1987 issue of Keyboard magazine.  Unfortunately, I cannot find the actual record that came with it, but it WAS there; the mag also has a transcription of BP#1 (the hard version).

damn I'd give a LOT for that one myself. NB: the BP #1 may well have been the HARD version in 1976 when it was new. but to play these rhythms AGAINST A BEAT -  and especially the uptempo circus beat in 1984's #2, is truly absurd.
