I never judge. Or patronize. I certainly may have misinterpreted.
We've known each other on this forum for some time now. I would have thought that you would have cut me some slack on your interpretation of what I initially said about boundaries. Your interpretation was insulting, hence why I said quick to judge and based on your misinterpretation you gave me a little lesson hence why I said patronising. Your first response could have been to ask me a question to clarify. I thought I knew you better.

You're right. I should have cut you some slack. Boundaries are often necessary. Obviously.
I apologize if I insulted you.

@ downer mydnyte: Thanks. Apology accepted. That distinguishes you from many others on this forum who would rather set fire to their own heads than consider apologising to anyone. I am likewise sorry if I overreacted - I'm a wee bit jaded with this place and probably took some of that out on you.

Solo tour soon?

from DZ world-

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying your Summer. I'm in the middle of a vacation week with my wife and kids. As soon as it's over it is straight back to work for me! My Via Zammata' album is being mastered at the moment. The artwork is coming together and all of the elements will be sent off to manufacturing soon. Then it will be time to share it will everyone. First it will go to all of the Pledge Music supporters and then it will have a separate worldwide release.

There are also a few other things in the works. We begin another leg of the "One SIze Fits All" tour in July. We will be adding a few new songs we have never played and relearning a few from previous tours that have not been played in a while. We're in a "Joe's Garage" kind of a mood right now!

In September I will be doing some performances with ZPZ and teaching some special guitar courses in Montana at the Crown Of The Continent Guitar Festival - http://crownguitarfest.org

I am also writing a piece of music to be performed by the LAGQ - Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. www.lagq.com

It will debut at the Crown Of The Continent Guitar Festival.

There are also some special shows that will happen this year that I will be announcing soon. They will be concerts of my own music, both new (Via Zammata') and old (Confessions... Go With What You Know, Havin' A Bad Day, My Guitar Wants To KIll Your Mama).

Stay tuned for the announcements about these Dweezil Zappa shows right here.

See you on the road soon! Regards, DZ

As many times as there are guitar pickers in Nashville? :)

I’m branching out into some other areas that I haven’t done anything with before. Later this year in Holland, I’m debuting some of my classical music. I’ve written some orchestral music so there will be a 100-piece orchestra performing it in two cities in Holland so that could be the start of some other things for me that are certainly different from when I started as a musician.

Somebody once referred to Zappa Fan #1 Of The Dutch Section, aka Co de Kloet, as "a man who won't rest until he's made a classical album with all the people Zappa's worked with." Ya know, considering he helped Terry Bozzio, Mike Keneally and Steve Vai and possibly some others record with the Metropole Orchestra. I'm guessing he's behind this project...
