^I can't believe no one is doing You Can't Kill Rock & Roll. It's one of his best songs.

I never judge. Or patronize. I certainly may have misinterpreted.

No DZ & Oates, though.

It's out. DZ's solo is immaculate!

From what I've heard so far, SATO is actually a high spot. I'm not all that impressed with the vocals on any of the songs. Over The Mountain is plodding. I'll give the whole thing a listen, though, to see if it will grow on me.

I have to agree with cal. It's pretty pedestrian on SATO. DZ hit all the right notes in the right places, even so, there's no real spark to any of it and they could've found a better singer. imho :|

I don't have much faith in tribute albums in general.

+1. There's always an exception though.

I listened to the whole thing today, and I think S.A.T.O. is the best song on there.

Which isn't saying a whole lot for the album. :|

^It's just something that professional musicians will do. Pay tribute, that is. I'll never purchase it. And it'll probably never make my iPod.

Can't wait for Via Zammata! :D

Today's the presale for ZPZ on 24 October, in Melkweg Amsterdam. The 2010 concert in Melkweg was the best ZPZ I went to and I'd love to see Pete and Unica again, but on the other hand there's also Primus and Diru I'm going to this year.
