Many years ago I asked Gail Zappa the feasabilty of a massive Happy Hallowen Everybody project.

I suggested Full Shows from every Halloween Run Engagement. In addition to all the Live Audio lots of interview, video, graphical and liner note nuggets could be added value to the many Full Shows.

A massive project all around Franks favorite holiday.

Please add any information regarding the historical documentation of any FZ Halloween Run Performance.

(The numbers for you: between 1972 and 1984 there were 15 shows on Halloween itself, as well as 13 shows in the "before" Halloween runs. As well as an additional 3 shows on Nov 1 considered part of the runs as they were played at the same venue as the other shows in the Halloween "run". So that is roughly 31 shows. And of course I could have missed one or two. So that is one BIG FUCKING box set. Even with missing shows, it would still be gargantuan. Especially if you factor in the length of some of the shows.)
...........Thank you very much.

right, and they could release two or three a year for the next ten years as an alternative, let alone mixing it up with special Halloween zpz proceedings with Warren and Ike and Dweezil and Vinnie all on the stage together at once, maybe. with or without these configurations, I'd go for something say once every couple of years of 3 or 4 cd's in a halloween setting. But there are so many other things too!!!!!

This could be a repository for any information regarding a Halloween Run performance or artifact. You got pictures, stories, setlists, special guests notes, arrangement notes, theater/venue, equipment used by the musicians, a costume you wore, a friend you brought to a show for the first time, the price of the tickets, how you purchased them, where you were in line, what type of seats you wound up with, the merchandise avaialable, any history from a show you attended please interject.

Oh sweet jesus, don't go there!
I have most of them too.
I am missing a couple.
But damn, now we may get a thirteen paragraph diatribe on the
evils of show trading.

Yes, I've got an (incomplete) great-sounding SBD-recording of 1980-10-31 at the Palladium, NYC!!! :D

1984-10-31 there were 2 shows at the Felt Forum, NYC (that I haven't got :x )...
