I wish that Zappa fans put there memorabilia at this spot. Photo's,tickets etc. I have seen Frank Zappa perform from 1971 till 1988 in Holland and even made some pictures at concerts of 1973 and 1976. And I kept scrapbooks the same time. Hope you enjoy my and other pictures.

But his "presence" still comes through on those shots, Bernie. Really cool.<br><br>All the other photos are great, too! I love amatuer photos. They have a certain "feel" to them that is different from high-tech pro stuff. You know? <br><br>Sebbastian had a link up a few months ago to some Mothers B&W photos taken from the backstage view. Those were pretty cool, too.

It was a concept album, although the actual story line escapes me at the moment. <br>The guy's guitar always confused me...it was a red semi-hollowbody and the headstock had eight tuning keys. :-/

I saw the newspaper photo with Frank and Gail there, and am not sure, but think I saw the first photos you posted on this thread through them....if not, I know I saw them elsewhere on the net. Good to see them again! MTF, I agree, those are some pretty bizarre shades, but bear in mind; the pic was taken in 1973, and those frames were pretty common and considered to be fashionable. But remember the year: 1973, remember those Johnny Carson-type pants Frank was wearing then? Would he be caught dead in them even 2 years later? Nope, 'cause they were LOUD!!!!!  ;D ;D
