Gail did mention in some thread (I'm still looking for which one) that on some future FZ releases they are considering putting them on vinyl.

She mentioned them in 2007. Hopefully they'll get around too it then.

That's a better way to put it.

Wow, it's great to see serious vinyl collectors, and rare stuff. I have lots of old vinyl, including some rare and obscure stuff, mostly because I'm getting old! I should inventory that stuff. I remember a weird album (something about New York City if memory serves) they did with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Zappa only plays a few tracks at best. I've had friends give me Zappa albums they have acquired, just because they know I appreciate them. My wife & son started buying me Zappa on CD, now I don't even own a turntable. Not too many cassettes though, the player ate most of them. I need to get my vinyls committed to CD so I can listen to those again. My son is telling me I need to go digital now, he'll have to download my concert for me.

No wonder I can't find a vinyl copy.

I just picked up Joe's Garage acts II & III and Zappa In New York (Re-1) yesterday. Both in excellent condition.

the radio station acetate is not worth that price, no indication of any differences from the original wrmf; the test pressing acetate is very unusual...all tracks ended up on su'npyg rather than su'npygsm, it's also different than the mail order ads on the inner sleeves of ttr; fz still tweezing the track order, well worth the $547; if any of those 3 tracks are a different mix: huge bonus ... is that fz handwriting ¿ the green looks like it could be

WoW! it's realy nice collections you guys have!! I thought i had some rare items, but compared to some of you guys, it's nothing haha

I have been and are sick with the flue this xmas holliday. So what i have been doing is going thru my record collection, grading the vinyl and covers and getting it into a database.
Been thinking of taking pictures for the database. Might get back here and post something :)

Long live the vinyl!

Been gathering most of this during a 2-3 year periode. Have not been buying anything now for about two or three years, finaces was not so good...
But now the finaces are good again, everything is back on track, and i started looking for more Zappa vinyl! It's a wonderful feeling

Hope you guys post more pictures of rare Items! It's realy interesting, especialy when you show things i didn't even know existed.

I definitely did not know that YCDTOSA Vol. 2 was ever on vinyl. Is that an official release? It would be awfully nice having Lather on vinyl as well.

Between "Zoot Allures" and "In New York" is two other "In New York"

I think maby you mean the records between "Transparency" and "Zoot Allures". Those two are "2 Originals of the Mothers".
