I read anything and everything I can get my eyes on about FZ, I take it all with a grain of salt.
There are a lot of negative things said about FZ, but I tend to treat the stuff I disagree with, with a laugh...everybody's got an opinion about everything....Love him or hate him FZ the man and his music are endlessly entertaining.....

I'm waiting for Andrews next Zappa book...

I am ready for Andrew's next book as well. Bring it on.

I'll get a copy of Ben's book soon. I'm enjoying Barnes' Beefheart book, but I definitely disagree with one thing. He hinted that "Debra Kadabra" was a great song followed by the lackluster "Carolina Hard Core Ecstasy". In my opinion, he has that one backwards?

I read almost all of 'em, too. I end up not liking most of it.

Music can be a business. It certainly does not need to be and is often better when the business considerations come secondary to the music.

I am not a huge fan of The Eagles, but I would love to read Don Felder's book.

I'm like The Dude in Big Lebowski. I hate the fucking Eagles. Glen Frey can afford to be candid now. Back then he comes across like he was full of shit.
But I enjoyed Felder's book because I don't mind dirt slinging, misinformation and armchair psychology from the ones who were actually there on the front lines!

Wow, you don't mind it? You?

We are all very shocked to hear that.

Just finished Electric Don Quioxite. I enjoyed it.

Jimmy Carl Black's book should arrive in the next couple of days. Looking forward to that one.

Looks good! Jimmy's book arrives tomorrow. Looking forward to it. You definitely got the Zappa book and magazines wrapped up. I'm jealous of your list.
