Dear Zappa.com,
This may be a touch geeky but I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'd love a Frank Zappa figure. Currently it would be an easy money spinner for you to allow POP vinyl figures such as this one:

https://www.funko.com/search?q=Hendrix& ... mi-hendrix

All that would be required is your approval and thumbs up to a suitable POP figure.

It would also be amazing to see other members of Frank's band allowed as well. I could give you a massive list but ultimately the main figure would be an actual Frank Zappa.

There's been several statues, clay figure pipes, busts etc over the years (all of them extremely limited and impossible to find.)

Imagine the joy that fans would have with a cool Pop of the great Frank Zappa on there desk or sitting with there music collections. Hey it could be a nice feature for another box set perhaps?

I'm sure I'm not the only one out there wishing for a Zappa figure and I think you'll find it would be a huge success.

Just putting it out there and hoping.
Sean.

PS. I'm certain a Captain Beefheart POP would go well also however I understand there could be rights issues etc with that one.

Wow, that must have brought tears to the eyes loosing that terrific Mothers figure. What a loss. Sadly they are very rare and hard to come by. The best I have seen of late was a Frank Zappa pipe? Strange being that Frank was a cigarette's man.

Love the cardboard version though. It reminds me of Spinal Taps 'Back From The Dead' album which featured a cardboard pop up of the band to take photos and share showing all the places around the world that Spinal Tap popped up.(Cheesy pun being that it was in fact a pop up band cut out.)

Maybe some playing cards will satisfy until you get your figures...

Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't even aware these existed. I'll be sure to snap up a pack. :)

Well it is Frank Zappa related as all true Alice Cooper fans must know, if it wasn't for Frank Zappa(who of course produced there first album 'Pretties for You' and his company produced the 2nd album 'Easy Action' as well), it's highly likely that the Alice Cooper rock band would never have come to the stunning success it eventually did.

I've got this figure(big Alice Cooper fan):
https://www.funko.com/search?q=alice%20cooper

I've also got the new one which features Alice in a straight jacket.

I can't think of any other Frank pop except the half naked with the SG and cigarette in the guitar(which correct me if I'm mistaken is no doubt where Jimi Hendrix got it from), pose for say Halloween or Roxy. Anyone else? Also perhaps a Mammy Nuns. :)

Wow, now that's a seriously cool Alice Cooper figure(Art Asylum make some great stuff, I wasn't aware of these. I'll be on the look out for sure.)

However.... Please tell me the button is on his belt and not the crutch!!!!!! The box sample push me area is somewhat suspicious.

ZFT, how about a Frank Zappa figure by Art Asylum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could move his conductor arm with baton down to make Frank go "Hoopla, 1, 2 etc"

Then on the other side his other arm could be wrapped around a guitar and pushing a fret button plays the solo from 'Eat That Question' or 'Peaches en Regalia' etc.

However even just a plain nicely detailed Art Asylum figure with no sounds would be amazing and we'll imagine Frank is listening to John Cages 4.33

You see Alice is twice as scary when he's allowed out of the box... :)

Thank you very much for verifying that and sharing the great photo of the free Alice.

I would have felt incredibly weird pushing Alice's crotch every time I wanted to demo him off to friends......

This also completely removes Alice from this kind of figure status: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcDgOGC5Lcc

Thank Ethyl for that.
