Actually my first was this. Black vinyl though. i was confused when i brought it home. I didn't know from 12" EPs. I thought the price was a steal. I was 12, i think.

Remember quite clearly. Used to hang out at the arcade at Metcalf South in Overland Park, KS...arcade name was the Red Baron, record store was the next store over....forget it's name, but my 1st purchase was there 2 LPs

I can't remember if I purchased this or stole it from my parents, but this is the first album I remember taking possession of. On CD, around age 9 I believe.

First single I ever bought. I got nothing but Beatles singles, until 1965 or so.

I didn't start buying LPs until 1967.

Fairly positive my first LP purchase was "Surrealistic Pillow," followed by "Sgt. Pepper"
later in the year.
