^ The wife-y got him the job. So I guess she brought him. But actually, she did not join with him. The Dead invited her later.

^ I knew that.

I have watched all of the 'Fare Thee Well' shows except for 'from Drums & Space on' from the last night on July 5th. Image

Bob Weir on The Big Interview with Dan Rather August 11th on AXS TV. I've seen some good interviews with him. Looking forward to this one.

They're all playing gigs together in separate bands, riding that money train. You know at each show the fans are hoping they'll all jam together at the end as The Dead...live again!
It saddens me. They should stay dead and not dangle the carrot of a reunion in front of money paying fans like that.
Jerry and Ron are pissed! :x

I don't know if that's true.....they are musicians.....what do musicians do....they play music. I think that they are just doing their thing. As the Grateful Dead, that's basically over, we all know that...they know that....but that doesn't mean they have to sit at home. Phil doesn't want to tour anymore. Bob's up for it......I think you'll see plenty of Dead tunes and other stuff that this group feels like playing.

I'm not Sleepy (or sleepy), but I think it's fantastic. Probably my favorite out of the whole series, with just a mind-meltingly weird "Dark Star" being the piece de resistance.

I love some of their albums, some not as great as others. A bit like any true talent.

I totally agree, but he made it sound like ABB, I read Bill Kreutzman's book, and that's what he said. Also, the The Grateful Dead/FZ connection is that The Grateful Dead used to hang out (maybe just once) at The Log Cabin, I read it in Pauline Butcher's book.

Hi Ark,

I agree with Shrewnews, it's excellent and one of the better releases of the series. You might have a hard time finding it at this point. It's sold out on the site. One gripe I have about these releases is the limited edition thing. Gimme a break.
