It's superb news.

Even just as amazing are the incredible amount of 40th anniversary editions of the albums being released. CD and DVD-Audio releases of the classic King Crimson albums in up to 24bit/192KHz sampling of master tapes and masterings.

Even even more incredible are the superb mega-box sets of King Crimson albums like Starless and Bible Black for example. A 27 DISC box set featuring a plethora of unreleased, live and high definition with surround sound mixes of the material from that time to complement the album on CD, DVD-Audio and Bluray discs. Incredible.

Check out this awesomeness: https://www.burningshed.com/store/kingcrimson/

Here's hoping such a box set or 2 could be put together for Frank Zappa and Dweezil Zappa's works one day.

Oh I forgot to mention all the King Crimson albums will be available in 200g vinyl as well with original album sleeves and notes. Amazing time to be music lover and hi-fi buff.

I read about this on FB yesterday...outstanding!

I missed the 2014 tour due to this slight cancer issue I was dealing with. Looking forward to the east coast in the fall.

Just wait a minute! Will it be three or four drummers?

"The Seven-Headed Beast is about to become the Double Quartet as Bill Rieflin returns from his sabbatical. Robert Fripp has announced the new phase in the King Crimson line-up via his updated diary.

Existing repertoire will be re-calibrated for the about-to-be-becoming King Crimson Double Quartet Formation. King Crimson is the first group of which Jeremy has been a full-member. Jeremy became a full-contributor to the Seven-Headed Beast during the 2017 EuroTour, a remarkable achievement for Jezza to adopt the entire repertoire on both drums and keyboards. Bill is presently returning from his Sabbatical, and now The Beast has Eight Heads.

Jeremy and Bill are both multi-instrumental, so King Crimson is likely to be making a lot more noise than before. Even."

So, maybe they'll have to play larger venues?

Friday night, Mrs. Flycoon and I saw Stick Men at a local jazz club.

So Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto aren't just sitting on their haunches, waiting for Fripp to call:

With the setlist addition of "Fallen Angel", it looks like King Crimson may be playing every studio track from 'Red' on this upcoming tour.

Indiscipline and The Talking Drum were played last year. I hope those two stay in the set.

LA only has 1 show because the Greek Theatre seats just under 6,000. Whereas, most of the other venues they're playing are smaller...

I hope for another European tour probably next year.

Berlin last year was one of the greatest things that ever happened IMO. Heroes on the EP is from that show so I preordered that one on day one.
