Indeed. However, your version is far too small to capture it's true essence.

Many many australian women in the dreary suburbs are exactly like this.
Love or loathe them, they nail it.

Ha just found a cover by a Dutch metal band, it's definitely more tolerable and better sung. They're called Pene Corrida.

Now that I work at a customer contact centre for @Leisure, I sometimes have to call home owners. Not just people, but all the holiday parks 'n all.
Holiday parks have been giving us a headache. On Saturday a nasty error crawled into the site, so ALL parks of a certain company couldn't be booked. It wasn't until Tuesday that some were working again, but not all.
Another headache causer is holiday parks tend to put ten, twenty houses on the same one code. In general they are similar but they may be different - sometimes only half of them allow dogs. Which means -
-customer with dog looks for a house with dog
-finds holiday park chalet
-attempts to book with dog, but fails - they get a message that it's already booked, although there's no mention of it on the site.
-books without dog
-calls to ask if they can add the dog
And then we need to call the park to ask if they can be moved to a house with dog. Often doesn't work, and since dog owners can feel very strong about that kind of thing, they are prepared to cancel their journey if the dog can't come.

So today I couldn't book someone, it took me straight back to the booking site. It was a German customer. In my best (or wurst) German I tried to explain the reason for the failure and took down her data. Asked the seniors - we couldn't tell without making a booking if the error was the dog or the site, so they asked me to call the holiday park.

The holiday park is nefarious for its long waiting times. For this relatively simple question "are there still houses where dogs are allowed on this number?" which took one minute to resolve, I spent 26 minutes listening to an instrumental version of True by Spandau Ballet.

I hope I never have to hear THAT crap again.
