Finally, here's the Flakes comic I wrote in response to the YCFOSA download saga. It's not very pungent since I'm a very sweet lady. See if you can spot any of the hidden references...

Well that's georgeous Bonny, you should be very proud. My favourite bit is the snail's eye.

You're free to do that; I don't have an account there anymore.

One of our old "friends" already did it.

Great..... but Dylan really should have made an appearance. Perhaps as a snail.

They took it down already. You've been censored! Nothing like a little freedom of expression like they're supposedly celebrating September 17th in Baltimore. :x

It's probably not "me" they've censored, maybe some of its commentary, or perhaps the user gets cut down every time he posts something about YCFOSA. If you really want to give this a publicity boost there, better post it on the forum under My Favourite Things as Zappa Comic with no reference to YCFOSA at all.

I never saw this! I feel ashamed *wails*. Quite good and VERY funny! Besides the obvious "Flakes" reference, I feel even more embarrassed that I can't figure out any other refs....could ya see your way to explaining a few? Thanks and great job! :)

I made this when I was heavy on Gabriel Knight 3 / Tim Curry - the Flake is modelled after Tim Curry (you'd be forgiven for not recognizing him with the way I draw) and in the last panel there's a snail called Tim, the girl's called Grace (female protagonist of GK3) and in the initial snailfest panel (put in there because I had too much space left to leave blank but too little to do anything substantial, I put in a few snails and soon they took over the comic) there's a snail called Gabe.
Barry was picked after "The Way I See It Barry".
Surabaya was after the song Surabaya Johnny by Kurt Weill.
In the last panel you may recognize two lines from the stick that you can find at the end of Dancin' Fool.
And the very last panel, The End with a black square, white oval and blinking snail, that is a reference to the famous-everywhere-except-in-the-Engish-language Suske & Wiske / Bob & Bobette / Spike & Suzy comics by Willy Vandersteen, they all end with the female lead in such a panel.
