Nice to see that Cow Bomb had a fairly successful career.

But wasn't it a huge bummer when the original lead singer left the band for a solo career and now that the original drummer and keyboardist are dead there were only 2 original members of the band when I saw them at the County Fair last summer...

Since that County Fair, the estate of the late Red Bovine, keyboardist and founding member of Cow Bomb, have issued a cease and desist order against the surviving members, forbidding them from using the name Cow Bomb. Apparently the widow Bovine has patented the name.
The surviving members had this to say:
"We are saddened by the actions taken by the estate of our former brudder in arms, but we do intend to carry on. Henceforth we shall be known as "Cow Balm", with the aim of playing a more soothing brand of music. To this end, we have signed a deal with music mogul Sigh-mon Cow-ell, who will help us move in this direction. We plan to boogie 'til the cows come home."

In another odd twist Former Cow Bomb lead singer Bull S Eye received a cease and desist order for playing early Cow Bomb songs from when he was in the band on his latest huge arena tour Bull S Eye Cow Bomb Them Tour.

Bull is udderly disgusted with the legal filling and calls it bullshit and doesn't think it will stand up if he can get enough people to help him tip it over.

Being part Native American Mr. Eye has invoked his Cattle Rights he receives from the Cowchella Tribe and plans on playing all the songs from the early Cow Bomb hit album Dark Side of the Cow Patty at the Cowchella festival later this year.

It's rumored there will be a show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco later this year as well.

In yet another stunning development Bull S Eye will be joined at the Cow Palace by fellow founding members of Cow Bomb bass player Angus Black and lead guitarist Longhorn Steer for the USDA Choice Lactose Intolerance round up beef benefit.
