I'm a total Acorn...I don't know what went on there but a lot of stuff at the top end of technology of it's time happened there including an artificial swamp of substantial size being constructed in the 1400's (most likely by the Knights Templar), Ship parts in the swamp from 1650 (most likely Pirates), cobble stone road in the swamp and pier & slipway from 1740 in the cove (probably from the French), ax cut wood cored from 140 feet from 1680 and dozens of artifacts dating from the 1400's to 1770 found all over the Money Pit area on an Island that was uninhabited until 1795...Its seems everybody and there brother has been doing major engineering projects on this Island for over 600 years...things that make you go Hummm...and somebody needs to update those History books since we have discovery's all over the US and Canada that show the Knights Templar were regular visitors to the America's long before Columbus...

It is very interesting!! I take this show with a grain of salt, as I do with all reality tv, but I really enjoy watching it so far! The show could be entirely fabricated and the legend still be true. I also think there has to be SOMETHING to this.

Re-visited one of my favorite Netflix series: Derek. Get out your handkerchiefs, whether for heartwarming or heartbreaking moments.
Dirty Harry. One of those movies you couldn't make again today. Still, a classic.
The Longest Yard. The original and still the best.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I always thought it was one of those "it was all a dream" movies, but it was Dick Van Dyke's imaginative story that took them to the Bavarian village with Benny Hill as the toymaker. Love Lionel Jefferies as the Grandfather. "P.O.S.H. Posh!"

It's getting good now isn't it... :?: ...doesn't it boggle the mind how many different groups (Templar's (1400), Pirates (1600), French (1700), English (1700), and who knows who else apparently undertook huge construction projects on this little island, it just amazes me, this location has been known to depositors for hundreds of years...

Yes! My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed this show! It is amazing how many links their are to this island and important historical events. Even if a small amount of this stuff is true it completely changes North American history.

Just finished up Oak Island season 6. Apparently there is a 7th season that hasn't made it to Hulu yet. Looked on the history channel website, and of course you can watch SOME of the episodes but not all. Have to launch and investigation and see if I can find it elsewhere.

I wasn't feeling particularly lucky, then I stumbled into the old Dirty Harry movies.

Dirty Harry,
Magnum Force,
The Enforcer,
Sudden Impact,
The Dead Pool.

Made my day.....
