2 disks. Got it from Netfix. Loved it. At one point Keith said something like "We set out with the intention of being the best trio you ever saw." I'd say "mission accomplished." This was amazing. It also really hammers home how much more people were into supporting great live music in the 1970's. A band like this could never get that kind of support now.

home movies, season one

nifty little cartoon series that started at the upn network (are they out of business?), and then found a home (before being cancelled) at the cartoon network. comedian paula poundstone used to do the voice of the mom on the show, but for whatever reason---her problems with alcohol and possible child neglect/abuse?---was replaced by a woman who sounded so much like her, i thought paula had done the voice for the whole series. great songs

Careful.....liking ELP will bring out some real jackasses who don't appreciate great progressive rock.

ELP was great.

One of the greatest sci-fi pictures ever. Really wide screen. Dolby 5.1.

Almost as good as seeing it in a theater...

Actual title:"Non si Sevizia un Paperino" ("Don't Torture Donald Duck"), but the american distibutors got worried about law suits, and retitled it.

I've never heard of this movie before. I just got done watching this as a "Browse Instant" on Netflix. 1970. Defies description. Oh my god. HAHAHAHA! Watch it all the way through to the end. You won't fucking believe it. There is NO WAY something like this could be released now. Wow. Wow.

P.S. They point out at the very beginning of the movie that this has nothing to do with the other movie named "Valley of The Dolls." No connection whatsoever. This one is all on it's own, in more ways than one.

The script was written by Roger Ebert. Weird, huh?

A friend of mine dropped over last night. He races the quarter-mile in his black Nova. What else would I put on?
