here's another one:

I was never a big fan of lynyrd skynyrd, but I've always thought they had good guitar players and some really good songs.

this is an ok documentary, and, of course, it has a sad ending.

I saw it last week.

They knew the plane was defective and they took it anyway.
Sad. But I guess it was the way to behave in the seventies.
Nothing was really serious.

We played "I know a little" in my Blues band. A good swinging shuffle.
That tune is not in the film.

Is there actually a connection between the two films? I saw the first one, and heard about the second, I was never sure if they had anything to do with each other.

No completely different stories and they made a third one set in space I was very excited for it since I liked 1 and 2 surpassed it (more of a psychological thriller for the most part and John Goodman is amazing in it), but when I saw 3 I was little disappointed, I may watch it again maybe I didn't give it the old collage try...

BTW there is a sequel to one slated for 2024 and it looks like the Eiffel Tower gets it he must not like French Structural Designers...

I was never a fan of the big orchestral jazz arrangements quincy jones got famous for.
and, I never cared for his collaborations with michael jackson either.

but, it was an ok documentary.

it was really good. lots of great songs and great interviews. I was impressed by jakob dylan.

and, frank zappa was at least mentioned a couple of times.

This looks like something Kat and I would enjoy we have watched several documentaries about this time period in the canyons above Hollywood and Frank is mentioned in all of them, some go into more depth than others.

jake gyllenhaal is awesome (as always) in this, a practically one-man movie.

the rest of the cast, who are mostly heard talking on phones, are performing great, as well.

I don't want to give too much away, but jake gyllenhall alone makes this a four pumpkins rating.

Watched this last night on a cheap digital projector shined on to a white sheet. I've never enjoyed this film more!
