I checked it out on line, I like his work I'm sure it was wonderful to see in person.

Well after three months of giving Deviant Art - Eclipse a try I find the interface is too broken and too deteriorated to use. I'm sad about that, have had an account for 8 years, over 500 deviations and 18,793 llamas.

Started mountain biking again. I racked up 60 miles on trails this past week. Legs are ready for a break today.

Went to a music choppe today - first time in a very long time, was very happy to find that the specific place still existed. I bought snares for my 5-string bass and a bottleneck. "For your bass too? Sick!" was the shopkeeper's reaction. I explained that it had to do with having broken it once.

BB Bottleneck Bass style, the next viral bass instruction video? :D

Finishing up short trip to St Louis from the prairie. Had to sit on a bus with hillbillies (where's the bar?) to our canoe launch. Weather fine, under 85.

A somewhat unannounced stop at IKEA in Kansas City. "Because we have nothing to do." I let my wife stand in line 45 min to get in. She with her type O blood can go in. I'm outside. There is nothing here. A gas station, a Taco Bell and a Home Depot. I read some of an e-book.

ain't done shit today
looked at and listened to the news
such as it is,
read some history books

still pumping air, still working, paying rent, eating groceries I get at the store, wondering how much longer any of this can last
feels like everyone's just watching the credits scroll at the end of a terrible movie that we've all seen fifty times, but there's a zombie hurricane outside and we're all supposed to shelter in place until the police state says it's okay to come out again. Some one asks if we're due for another ration of SPAM, or not.

Dog Breath in the year of the plague indeed

Just got home from a 20 mile urban bike ride through downtown and the riverfront parks. Beautiful morning and a great way to start the weekend!

It's blackberry season again here in Oregon!! My wife and I went to the park down the road and gathered almost 8 lbs! We left the park with thorn poked arms, purple hands, and big smiles on our faces!

We live out here in the middle of the land with low rainfall. I am waiting for a lawn sprinkler guy to come fix a sprinkler head. This one I could maybe fix, but since it is hot, I did not want to mess up the system. The previous one I tied to dig out, but it was tangled in tree roots. They have a saw thingy to cut it loose.

Went to look for birds two days ago. Only found these young grackles, probably female as the male will get black by fall.

If you live in Texas, these great tailed grackles gather at parking lots. Not a forest bird.

^^Whenever I think of grackles I think of how they sound like squeaky wheel barrows especially when they get going in a group. Neat pictures!^^

I pride myself at being laid back and relaxed, however for the first time since March 1974,
I lost my temper in a big way at work today.

I've been struggling to get my head around a brand new and, to me at least, extremely complex
payroll system for a couple of weeks now, and the pressure was on to get the staff paid today.

As the my deadline was fast approaching there was a bunch of inane jibber jabber going on
by some of the wage(s) recipients making it a little difficult for this old dog to concentrate on
the many crucial steps in the new process.....

Things weren't adding up, jibber jabber, the file I needed to electronically export to the bank
wasn't where it was supposed to be, jibber jabber jibber jabber, the file needed
for the tax department appeared to for the wrong pay period, jibber jabber jibber jabber
jibber jabber.....tick tock tick tock tick tock.....

"Hey! Do you f@#kin' c@#ts wanna get f@#kin' paid?! Then shut the f#@k up and get back to f#@kin' work!"

I eventually got the shit sorted and processed with minutes to spare.....

I may be shouting morning tea tomorrow.....

^^ Don't sweat it Ghost, it happens to the best of us. Situations like this seem a lot worse in your head because you're feeling every emotion involved. The people around probably didn't care or have forgotten about it already.^^
