Actually, that looks rather attractive. I don't want to swap, but it would be nice to visit. I could bring some German beer with me, too.

Yeah, be glad to let you stay (I'll even kick Donald out) and bring the Beer as Donald does not drink (always a danger sign) as will make a nice change from the worst beer on the gold fields

PS Actually went to have a look at this place on the weekend (but the wife Mrs Eddie) was not so keen- is miles from anywhere they only want $365,000. Don't tell Mrs Eddie but I think its just the place I can Play Frank ALAP (As loud As Possible), set up my guitar rig, scare the Koalas and drink piss (OZ for beer) :smoke:

I haven't received any mail since last Wednesday. Checked the box again this afternoon and found a "New Resident" green slip in the box. It says not to deliver mail to the address as it is vacant and has instruction for the change of address process. I've lived here for years, I don't understand how this could suddenly just happen...
:?
Has anyone else ever experienced this?
I contacted the post office, someone is supposed to be getting a hold me tomorrow, we'll see.

It certainly has! Luckily 99% of my mail is junk anyway!

Paid a visit to the nearest postal hub this morning. Apparently there was a substitute mail carrier while my regular guy was on vacation and the individual made a few mistakes. Took all of about 10 min. to get this resolved, mail should be back on track today! :D

I reside in junk mail central, for the first year I had one of these beside the mail box

so the crap never made it into the house, but it kept on coming, so I removed the mail box and the junk mail stopped overnight. I opened a Post Office Box and redirect what little real mail I get there. All my utility bills and such are online these days, so the paper mail is almost nonexistent, the box is like an all round Christmas tree as it's where my many online purchases arrive. 8)

Got to work very early this morning and set off the alarm to ear splitting pain. Turns out they changed the code during my vacations. Bastards !

Bought an amp at the second-hander. An XXL GU17 amp, portable, with adapter and batteries. Since they couldn't get it to work in shop I got it cheap at less than 10 euros, turned out the adapter was broken but the amp works! Hurray!

So if there are any earthquake reports from the south of the Netherlands, you know where it comes from.

Checked out bass line videos to check out, heard a pretty one, thought "hey I'll check out that song" and discovered it's horrible: Butterfly by Crazytown.

Maybe we should just stick with drums and bass line.

Had a nice surprise in the PO Box today, a "save FZ's vault" reward arrived.

Two strips of 16mm film, six frames per strip.

one strip is a black and white head shot of Frank, (on stage frowning)
the other is a colour shot of either the second gunman on the grassy knoll in Dallas or
a snippet of Bruce Bickford's claymation, I can't be sure which.....

the film strips are sandwiched between two pieces of clear Perspex (130mm x 75mm) presented in a tasteful little black box and there is a certificate of authenticity.

the carton that arrived was around A4 sized, and had a circular white label on the rear with all FZ's and the Zappa's logo's and terminologies 'n' stuff on it, you would know it if you saw it, which I surgically removed and popped into the scrap book, very nice.....
