I'm afraid a rather painful fissure allows for no such shenanigans.

I bicycle to a lake to watch birds. There is no bike rack so I have locked the bike to more remote benches. It does not prevent people from sitting on benches. But now I have a trumpist enemy at the lake. I have to hide the entire bike.

He was at the local lake, popular for all joggers, grannies, fishermen, kayakers and all. And me. He honked at me, passed me and came out to direct me to the bike path. The bike path around the lake is gravel, some of it was under water, and there were plenty of people at the shore using it. Dog walkers. I get to ride it when it is empty in November. He however is annoyed at my blinking tail light and HIS paying for my bike paths that I did not use. I was on the paved road. The road is used to get to locations in the park. It is useless for through traffic. He was going back and forth on both shores of the lake, "policing" it by his rules. I think the fishermen sort of put up with him, as he stays in the truck. For his superior post. He only opened the door to yell at me. I did not see a gun.

Got a message in the mail about my high school reunion.

On the one hand, I'm against it...."I don't have not much in common w/those people."

On the other, I'm somewhat interested how everyone turned out (the good, the bad & the ugly) Plus it may be good to step out of my comfort zone.

I’m due for my 40th reunion this year but nothing’s happening. I went to my 10th and 25th. That will probably be it for me.

I was dragged along to "th' class of 72" school reunion.....A lot of water had gone under the bridge, it was interesting playing spot the insert profession/life style here....., and watching the bullies of yesteryear getting taken outside by their old targets, talk about a motley crew, many had, shall we say, not aged well.....I retain a close friendship with a hard dozen from those college days, or should that be daze, we're what's left of an informal gang that was formed to survive the college conflict, only a couple of us still associate with the others from back then.....

Would I attend again.....no f@%$#&g way Milt, once was more than enough for me.....
