Finally got the person who made the mess to clean it up. It vanished as mysteriously as it appeared.

Glad you got the situation resolved, hopefully that'll be the end of it! Kudos to the law enforcement in your area for actually following through in a timely manner.

One of my sister-in-law's pupils has just been declared brain-dead. He fell into a cesspool. His father tried to rescue him, but fell in as well. The father is in stable condition.

We have the same sorta rules here in the States. Also applies to native shaman, you can't drag them home either, unfortunately.

Discovered one of my favourite active bands Dir En Grey is touring Europe again, which doesn't happen a lot since they're Japanese.

Discovered that all the venues are too far away for me now that I actually have a job... :(

Been checking out the prices...
Concert costs €42,50. I don't know if that's a standard price for Germany, or the Cologne Live Music Hall; but Effenaar was less than half that at €20.
FlixBus costs €9 euros to get there if I'm fast enough
Hostel will cost €26,40 minimum.

Sorry to hear that, they're really a band you need to see live...

Their Eindhoven concert was incredible! I was waiting outside the concert hall from 10 AM onwards (and I was about 10th in line, there were people there who had been waiting since 5 AM). At around 2 a lady stood in the door opening and asked if anyone spoke Dutch. I was the only one - got called in and was told I won the Visitor Of The Month award. Scored 2 free concert tickets.

Had I been a day later... there was a Zappa cover band announced only the day after, with my favourite FZ bassist Tom Fowler. But now pickings were not that good, still there was one concert I was interested in. A Dutch metal cover band Patatje Metal that makes metal versions of gooey Dutch pop songs.

Then I had a spare ticket. Sister was on holiday, friend was on holiday... so I jokingly asked this guy from the north of the country I knew off the Sierra game forum if he'd like to come with me. Thought it'd be too far for him...
But he came, and three years later we're still together!

To Summarize:
I'd Never Have Met My Boyfriend If Dir En Grey Wasn't So Goddamn Awesome.
