As a very young man, I was exposed to very earthy, human music. Blues music spoke to me, and I wanted to know the people inside it. I studied and absorbed it. I won’t be bothered trying to explain what’s real and what’s jive. The real thing is unpretentious, it’s natural, it’s traditional, it’s innovative, it’s emotive, it’s spiritual, it’s danceable, it’s simple, it’s subtle, it’s personal, and it’s universal. Seems like you’d have to be a special kind of asshole to not like it, even if you didn’t know what it is.

Well, that's good. You just keep growing your hair till it gets down to your buns. Just don't try to get a job with IBM or one of the state agencies with long hair because they just don't go for it. It's unsanitary, it's unclean, it means that you probably have leftist tendencies. It means that you're probably a whole bunch of things that the establishment doesn't want you to be. It means that you're a potential danger to every old person in your country. Boy, you better watch out if you have long hair.

"conclussion" = when someone hits 'monger real hard in the head and he decides it's time to finish a rant :mrgreen:

If you read/listen to a lot of FZ interviews, you know that they are often packed with nice-fantastic quotes. Here's one I picked up today - I don't think it's the best FZ quote I've ever heard, but it's nice:<br><br>"I was born too old for rock'n roll."

No fancy pix, but I always liked FZ's;

Do you love it?
Do ya hate it?
There it is,
The way you made it.
Wow!
(wow, being Womens Optional Wear or optional here too)

Off the Absolutely Free album. The song, Brown Shoes Don't Make It!
