In the town of Oss (no, not Oz) a farmer has a license to grow henp. To be used as cow food. This type of henp doesn't contain nearly enough THC to get high.

Tainted Buffet At Jackson Strip Club Blamed After Severe Diarrhea Incident On Stage

Quote:
“At first I picked up a bad smell; I thought maybe the guy next to me had farted,” said the witness, who declined to be named. “However, the smell got worse and I noticed that a lot of other guys were looking around to see what it was.”

It was at this point that the first dancer to suffer from diarrhea was unable to control her bowels any longer, and ‘a stream of brown liquid soon gushed over the stage splashing onlookers’, according to the witness. “It was absolutely disgusting,” he told journalists. “A number of guests immediately puked. I personally ran for the exit, I lost all interest in the show.”

I guess that's better than having someone else run to the exit for you.

There's a lot of talk about gratuitous English in The Netherlands. One such example is the university of Leiden, which recently dropped the name "bibliotheek" in favour of "library". Not realising that now, on the sign above the door, it says "Leiden University Library". Lul is d.i.c.k. in Dutch.

Under the header: "Typically Dutch Faits Divers":
In a flat in Tilburg, there was for a long time disagreement on bicycle parking procedures. There's limited space in the bicycle parking basement, and putting them out on the car parking lot was getting messy. Fortunately the two camps were on good terms and almost in agreement...

And then the whole apartment building won a prize in the lottery: all 200 households win at least one bicycle.

Smart cookie kea makes a snowball in Arthur's Pass, Canterbury
JACK FLETCHER

WEST COAST SHUTTLES
A kea was spotted pushing a snowball across Arthur's Pass on Thursday to the delight of one coach driver.

In a rare departure from pulling rubber off tourists and skiers' cars, a kea has been spotted making a snowball in Canterbury.

The driver of a coach making its way through Arthur's Pass spotted the intelligent parrot pushing a snowball across the snow-covered road on Thursday.

"Every now and then, travelling through the mountains, one gets to see some marvellous sights – today was one of those days," a post on the West Coast Shuttle Facebook page said.

WEST COAST SHUTTLES
The alpine parrot made the most of the spring snow.

"When travelling through the pass with snow chains on my tyres … there in front of me was a kea … rolling a snowball across the road."

Arthur's Pass was open on Thursday despite being blanketed with snow. The New Zealand Transport Agency advised chains were essential and the road was closed to towing vehicles.

The same restrictions applied on Friday with more snow expected to fall throughout the weekend.

Keas were well-known for their playful, if not obnoxious, behaviour. Recent research also showed they excelled at teamwork and had a contagious laugh.

A particular Kea's shriek was played to various parrots, which researchers said seemed to trigger an inherent sense of playfulness.

Some Kea's have a tendency to vandalize things, like car windscreen wipers or any rubber bits they can get their beaks into, it is not unusual to return to the car park to discover a parrot has pecked out a tyre valve or the rubber surrounding a car window, unfortunately you aren't allowed to ring their necks

Come on boys, let's block the road

Beautiful Plumage

PS The Kea is NZ's native parrot

Ikea flatpack for your fur babies is a thing
NATALIA DIDOVICH
Last updated 10:32, October 12 2017

Ikea has taken their commitment to providing the world with hard-to-assemble flatpack furniture to the next level with the unveiling of its comprehensive pet furniture range.

The new range, known as Lurvig (Swedish for hairy), includes fur-friendly blankets and rugs, dog's beds, cat houses, travel bags, scratching mats, litter trays and pet waste bags.

With prices ranging US$0.79 (NZ$1.12) for a food bowl to $77.70 for a cat house on legs with a pad, this range allows pet owners to purchase neat furniture for their pets without spending a fortune.

Hold your horses, now you can assemble flat-pack furniture for your pooch too.

The collection, which is available to view online, is currently being rolled out in stores across the US, Canada, France and Japan, with other countries set to receive the pooch-friendly range in March 2018.

Although New Zealand doesn't yet have an Ikea store, there is still a chance for Kiwis to get their hands on the pet-friendly furniture range.

Akia, an Ikea parallel importer, doesn't currently have any pet furniture in stock as it is not available at their supplier yet. They will consider getting some in if enough of us are interested.

"It will be on demand at this stage," a spokesperson said. "If the product gets popular, we will bring it in."

Finally we can get our hands on affordable and attractive pet furniture.

You know what this means New Zealand. It's time to start calling your favourite Ikea parallel importers.

The Lurvig dog blanket is available to purchase for US$19.99 (NZ$28.25) no assembly required.

The Lurvig cat scratching mat could be yours for US$5.99 (NZ$8.47).

The Lurvig range even has a play tunnel for cats, US$7.99 (NZ$11.29).

New job opening: "NASA announced that it is searching for a planetary protection officer to protect Earth from extraterrestrial contamination." Are you up to it? Bruce Willis can't do everything, after all. Down in the article a bit.

Seems to me like your crap detector could use fine tuning.

In the mean time, just round the corner, the local police missed the obvious "this is a construction zone" signs and the van parked in the way to prevent such mishaps...
and drove straight into the concrete.

 Car appeared again, that man parked 20 years ago in Frankfurt and couldn't find again:

About 20 years after a now 76-year-old man parked his Volkswagen Passat in Frankfurt, but didn't find it again and finally reported lost, the car has reappeared. The vehicle, which was obviously parked all these years in a garage in Tilsiter Straße, handycapped demolition work on the site. The owner called the city police. They identified the last owner of the car.
