^^^60 Minutes reported last year about another false alarm on a US nuclear sub that somebody fortunately decided wasn't the real deal. A practice exercise was misinterpreted. Makes me sleep well at night knowing these little mistakes are possible.

Saying goodbye to Hef is like losing a friend I've known from earliest teen years; and probably before that!

Have enjoyed his selections since Cathy Larmouth in 1981.

This is a weird one!
Turns out he died the same day the NY Times reported Don Trump Jr had ditched his Secret Service detail. A week before Don Jr had demanded he be left alone over objections of both Secret Service and other gov officials. Then the day that Horner was reported dead was the same newsday that Don Jr decided to let Secret Service start trailing him again.
Knowing, by his own admission, that Don Jr was willing to listen to stories about dirt on HRC by foreign nationals, and
knowing that others in Trump's campaign repeated fake news stories manufactured by this Horner character, so long as they supported their own perceived narrative, and
now finding themselves in legal investigation over all this fake news stuff - and facebook and twitter too! - and
wanting these sorts of stories to now disappear, makes such coincidences seem very suspicious.

To say there is a connection would be irresponsible, but to mention they coincide is not.

That report was erroneous. He's still alive. He might not make it, but as for now....

I remember Tom talking on a documentary about commenting to another Willbury (Harrison maybe?) when Roy Orbison died "I'm glad it's not me". "Yeah, me too" said the other. It seemed a little strange.

I'm too old for this shit. Everybody's dying.

Never a huge TP fan, but I didn't object to him either. I have a bin in my mind for musicians who's work I don't buy, but I don't change the channel when they come on the radio either. He's always been in there. I did like a lot of his songs though, despite being over-programmed.
