Uh....that was almost 4 months ago. Unless you're not talking about the astronaut.

I used to live in Plook's neighborhood and I can vouch that the paper boy there is not very efficient.

Note: I'm sure he was referring to Glenn finally being planted today. His wife wanted to wait until their anniversary to bury him and have his funeral. Seems a little odd to keep him on ice for over four months but wtf.

Yeah I was thrown when I saw the stories of his burial yesterday....so totally legit......and as Chevy Chase would say......Astronaut and Congressman John Glenn is still dead.

Reading all these cartoons, I could hear "The Matador", his theme song. He had great visits on The Tonight Show, insult Johnny and the audience, then say how we were all brothers and you realized it was just a character. When I was a teenager, I thought this was a cop-out, but I figured there were too many people out there who agreed with his jokes and thought he meant it. The last year or so, I'd see him on Jimmy Kimmel and I think Letterman and he was always seen seated and he didn't look good, but boy, was his mind and humor as sharp as ever. Miss that hockey puck already.

GG, I wasn't able to watch the show for some reason. Love that show.

So sad about Letterman's mom, always liked seeing what pie she'd made for Thanksgiving and her gentle ribbing of her son...and the sweet way she'd say, "Daa-vid"

She was 117...
(Consider this: men her age fought in World War 1)

Will be heavily missed. Singularly skilled guitarist.... RIP. A great source for Chad's drumming, also.
