I dunno, man. You make it sound so easy, but mixing the Z-Kidz and, let's say a bikini on a trampoline and the results aren't exactly instant...

Image

btw, does the corpse help? Maybe a bit too on-the-nose?

Bit of a surprise. Just started watching a CSI: NY episode....Til Death Do We Part (2005)....and Diva is in it, playing Della Fallon, a hotel worker who kills two doves, so that they fall out of a box to ruin a wedding.

She was never the same again and went on to open the ill fated bird sanctuary in the Mohave desert

And what's really hilarious is that when my mother was on her deathbed, she told us that we had four other siblings – that my father had been with three other women and there were four other children: one with one woman, one with another, and two with someone else.

Aside from the strange feeling of surprise although I always suspected there was a large possibility, I'm very curious how this legally would work, with the ZFT and all.... been speculating about this... how can I learn more about US inheritance law?

If Frank tied testate (with a will), they would need to be specially named as devisees to whatever Frank wanted to bequeath to them. If Frank died intestate (without a will), the four additional children would share equally with their other four siblings.

Unless Gail willed something to them (unlikely), they have no interest in her estate (other than legal holdings shared with Frank's estate, if any).

Heard stories that there was a will that Gail had hidden, all the same I'm not sure if it's possible to exclude your own children from inheriting even if you made a will...

Okay...
"In the United States, children may be disinherited by a parent's will, except in Louisiana, where a minimum share is guaranteed to surviving children. Many civil law countries follow a similar rule. In England and Wales from 1933 to 1975, a will could disinherit a spouse but since the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 such an attempt can be defeated by a court order if it leaves the surviving spouse (or other entitled dependent) without reasonable financial provision."

They could have patitioned the estate at the time of FZ death but I am sure there is a time limitation on those type of actions...

Creditors and other interested parties usually have 6 months from the decedent's date of death to file a claim against an estate.

I know, I know!

Thanks for the info Niceguy, but a creditor is hardly the same as a biological child... There's a reason why somebody just dug up Dalí.

From Wikip's paternity suit:
Quote:
Generally, under common law, a biological father has a legal obligation for the maintenance or support of his biological offspring, whether or not he is legally competent to marry the child's mother.
[...]
Some paternity laws assign full parental responsibility to fathers even in cases of women lying about contraception, using deceit (such as oral sex followed by self-artificial insemination[citation needed] or statutory rape by a woman (Hermesmann v. Seyer).[2]

If the context of inheritance rights, it will be the heirs of the deceased person who are attempting to dispute or establish paternity. In some states, DNA testing will be dispositive to establish paternity. In many jurisdictions, however, there are a variety of rules and time restrictions that can deny inheritance rights to biological children of a deceased father.[5][6][7]

Anyone know of a better legal source than this?

A biological child would fall under "other interested parties".

Also all legal actions are time sensitive, even criminal ones with the exception of murder... :smoke:

Wow Bonny, way to do your homework! Highly doubtful any other sibs asked for money, we probably would have heard about it, and since Gail didn't tell her own kids about them until her deathbed, it's well past time for the kids Frank fathered to come forward. Moon said she was very interested in meeting them, which is beyond nice of her. I hope she can meet as many as she can, learn if he visited them, etc. Pretty much doubt if Ahmet would, don't know about Diva and Dweezil hasn't said anything on this. I wish Moon the best in contacting her long lost half-siblings.

Maybe Lady Gaga is one, she's buying the house and her last name could be an anagram for his Zappa = Gaga...
