It would seem that your hatred Of DT is based either on your ideal of a perfect president or , your comparable knowledge of a past leader.
Since you appear to disregard anyone in the past , could you please tell us about your ideal leader for the United States and who that might be in the future ?

note : ' Anyone who isn't Trump ' is not really a logical answer.

I don't disregard everybody in the past except when they're real incompetents like W.

The ideal leader ? He doesn't have to be perfect you know. What's an ideal leader ?...

One you can trust when he speaks, not lying all of the time to cover his ass.
One with a spirit of unity, not division.
One who condems those who acts badly even if they're supporters.
One who has some noble human qualities like compassion, caring, understanding.
One who doesn't place his ego above everything.
One who admits it when he's wrong, do I need to say more ?
One who respects his allies and don't make friends with foes.
One who has a decent degree of culture so he knows what he's speaking about.
One who brings the best of the folks he meet, not the worst.
One who doesn't regard money as the most important thing in life.
One who admits he doesn't know everything and allows himself to take advices from those who knows.
One who is conscient that our planet Earth needs help.
One who takes into consideration what scientists have to say.
One who is more concerned to help folks than corporations.
One who will place NRA at its place.
One who doesn't fool folks with a Mexican paid wall.
One who respects those who doesn't agree with them.
One who doesn't mock those with disabilities.
One who will respect the Law.
One with a spirit of Peace.
One who is not an arrogant full of himself.
One who doesn't profit from his situation to make money.
One who spends more time at work than at leisure (think Golf here).
One who isn't obsessed by his own popularity.
One who doesn't think he's some sort of chosen one.
One who doesn't joke when he ought to be serious.
One who respects the liberty of the Press.
One who doesn't brag about his fortune.
One who listens.
One who doesn't lead the nation by tweeting.
One who doesn't contradict the news when it doesn't fit him.
One who choose the right people for the right job instead of his own family.
One who doesn't start a war trade without being conscious of the consequences.
One who doesn't take credit for the good things last president did.
One who doesnt start or support phony conspiracy theories.
One who doesnt grabs federal money for an obsession (think military funds versus his wall).
One who is not a complete ignorant about diplomacy and how the rest of the World live.
One who respects women, blacks, minorities, opposition and those with different opinions...

I guess I could go on...
but if a man has these qualities he's OK with me. He would have covered a lot of what a good leader is.

See, Trump is none of that !

I just want a good leader.
May he be Rep or Dem, I don't care.
After all, it's your country, do a right choice this time.

But I do confess I'm more prone to support Dems.

I would say any one of the democrat candidates that have participated in the debates so far would be preferable to Trump. The one exception would be Mary Ann Williamson. I would probably take a pass or vote for a third party candidate if she was the Democratic nominee. Obviously, she has a zero percent chance of being the nominee anyway. Even as kooky as she is she is at least a decent human being, something that I can’t say about Trump. I find all of the other Democratic candidates to be of superior intelligence, integrity, and decency when compared to our current President. I know that Trump sets the bar very low in those areas, but still.

And if you want a Republican, I’ll take John Kasich. I may not agree with everything he would represent (as I don’t for some of what the various Democratic candidates represent as well), but Kasich is a decent man of reason with experience in governance. That would be such a refreshing change from Trump even though I’m not a Republican. Btw, even though I’m registered as a Democratic I consider myself to be independent.

Mij, all your points about qualities that we’d like to see in our leaders but in which Trump fails miserably is spot on.

That's not really cutting it, Mij.
You have taken the place of S4B with your hate filled posts against Trump and Republicans or conservatives but , you offer nobody that you could name as a solution.
Instead , you spew opinion as if it were fact , post numerous rants out of context with or, without weak links and seem to be the epitome of a brainwashed National Enquirer reader.
If Trump was quoted as saying he doesn't like brown shoes or black ties , you would use that to prove his bigotry.
Like others on this forum , you spew about fake racism , recession , foreign policy and other fake news , without any idea of an alternative.
If you want to impeach Trump , President Pence has a nice ring to it but here's the bottom line.
Google and mass media can help all they want in your quest for change but , if you people can't start naming names and come up with a viable , electable candidate , you're spittin' in the wind.
Orange Man Bad indeed .

KII , thank you for an informed answer.
TBH , I was cheering for Tulsi Gabbard but, like the Dems did to HRC , the machine will pick it's poison.
Kasich ?
Didn't think an independent would vote for anybody that was connected with the Lehman Brothers.

Pedro-

I didn’t say I would vote for Kasich. I said I would take him over Trump. I would prefer any of the Republican candidates from the last election over Trump and I didn’t like any of them very much.

The only way you could tell it might be a song was a) the repetition of the "chorus" 5 times b) the continual use of "Wooooow".

In terms of content, "deny the Trump" strikes an overtly religious note; one is reminded of Saint Peter denying the Messiah, which tells us quite a lot about how the "author" views Trump.

Pedro, anyone so far is better than Trump, may it be Dem or Rep.
Apply my previous post on them and make a choice.
I'm a Canadian. I don't vote in USA.
Here, we just feel the bad things from Trump when it happens.

When will you stop being dumb ?

Another Obama curve. The hump was in the Bush caused recession. Biggest rise was 19% points, of the peak at 15%, from Clinton to Bush. At the end of Obama era it was lower than at the peak of the Bush era.

On an interesting note, the recipients who are white, 34%. were Trump voters. The others in the chart did not bother to vote much. perhaps they had no ID or permanent address to register.

Trouble in the GOP...
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/460585-primary-challenges-show-potential-cracks-in-trumps-gop

It would be fun to see Trump lose against one of these Reps.
I don't think it will happen. The fools who support Trump will continue to do so.
But it's a blessing in disguise.
It will leave the pleasure of beating Trump to a Dem.
Justice prevails...

There you go!
The States would be a better place, with Justin Trudeau there.
And, Canada would be a better place, with Justin Trudeau there!
