Nor Cal is always last on the list, or assume there will be another list...

No Boston date :(

I am lucky in regards to Zappa related shows in area.

I'll be happy for anyone who's been waiting to get one in their area.

I've heard Dweezil do the Gumbo variations and Peaches before.

Camel and Pimp would be nice to hear though.

They were just here in December so if they get back by the end of the year that would be pretty cool. 8)

Excellent! The Hot Rats Book on pre-order, the pending 50th Anniversary box set...and now the album in question performed in its entirety!

It will be interesting to see how TBWOFZ & Dweezil tours will be routed later this year or early next year, especially on the West Coast, since promoters know that both tours can't be booked in the same regions simultaneously...

What are you?
New?
The cycle is about every 18 months or so. If the band goes to UK/Europe(as they will), then it may be longer.

It'll be great to hear TGV again!

I found the list of US dates. Very happy to see them coming to NJ. Only wish they were coming back to the Wellmont Theater in Montclair. A great venue. Bergen PAC is old and tired. And Newton is out in the middle of nowhere. But if those will be the only two NJ dates and there won't be a NYC date, then I'll be at one of them. And I'm never going to another Ahmet production again. He doesn't get it.

If you haven't seen TBWOFZ, skip it. Saw the show two nights ago and was thoroughly disappointed. The problems had absolutely nothing to do with it being only the third night. The whole thing was very much not what Frank would have done. Save your time and money and wait until Dweezil comes around with Hot Rats.

Awesome. Was just wondering this past week after seeing the Bizarre World show if DZ would be hitting the road soon. WNY has been spoiled lately w/ live Zappa music :) . Asbury Hall @ Babeville is such an awesome venue. Just saw Buckethead there a few nights ago. Glad it's there and not the usual UB Center For The Arts, which is a great sounding auditorium, but a little too proper & clean for a rock show.

The 09/28 Calgary show is at the Bella Concert Hall on the Mount Royal University Campus lest anyone think we only have one concert hall.

Got my tickets, looking forward to it!

I need to pick up my tickets for this one. After seeing the Hologram fiasco I'm in need of a quality FZ fix. I just need to pick which venue to see them at. I wish they were playing in Montclair again. The theater is great and it's literally 5 minutes from my house.
