"King Crimson will be touring for six weeks this summer in June and early July together with the Zappa band in the USA and Canada. The full list of dates is yet to be confirmed, but today does see the announcement of a concert at The Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia on June 30th.
Tickets will on sale to the general public on Saturday, but as usual, we will be emailing 1000 Club members and DGM subscribers with details of our own Royal Package seats. "

MK confirmed over on ProgressiveEars that this is the hologram band w/out the hologram, not the DZ band.

I hope ticket prices aren't as outrageous as they were for the last KC tour. I really want to see this.

In the evolution of which rhythm color meet, be it by chance operation or cosmic design of galactic realms of music is the best meets and becomes a perfect pair, it's a great time to be in the moment of now.

All good will and praise. May all enjoy. Hoping that we can see audio and visual releases. The art work that KC has been using seems a perfect fit.

Imagine if you will Zappa Records CDs and Films using Zappa concept paintings and art layouts by P.J.Crook and Hugh O 'Donnel.

The tour of the century.

I'm thinking King Crimson featuring The Zappa Band would be great for the Super Bowl halftime show!

I mean, since they're touring and everything.

Bill Rieflin will not be returning for this tour. He has missed a couple of recent tours due to the illness of his wife, the artist Francesca Sundsten (whose art adorns many recent Crimson albums and posters). She passed away in August. I was hoping he would be back for this go-round, but DGM has confirmed it will be the same seven-piece lineup as last year.

I just heard about this a few days ago, my brother told me tickets go on sale Friday and asked if I was interested.
Well duh, YES I'm friggin' interested, so he's getting the tickets for the June 18th show at the Pavilion in Boston.

From what this link is showing me, It looks like the Zappa Band is only listed on the Wolf Trap (VA) and Boston stops ???

https://tickets-centers.com/performers/ ... gKWzfD_BwE

I've never seen KC live, never been a big fan, but I'll try anything once.
I saw the Zappa Band perform at the "Bizarre World of Frank Zappa Hologram Show" tour last year in Boston, they were really good.
The hologram part was kinda' hokey, it probably would have been a better show without it, but I go to hear the music.

It always amazes me that these types of bands choose to tour the south so much. I don't think of that area catering to that particular type of music, but they must!

The last concert I went to was....oh...… March 3, 1988 (F.Z.)
Next concert is July 12, 2020
Hello King Crimson and the Zappa Band! (most of these Zappa guys were in the '88 tour that I saw.)

That was the Broadway The Hard Way tour, I saw it in Providence at the civic center.
I remember we ate at the BK across the street before the show, Whoppers with mushrooms.
(we supplied the mushrooms)
They were doing voter registration in the lobby.
That was the fourth and last time I saw Frank live.
