I'd go, if they also have a hologram Trevor Charles Howell climb on stage.

A Scott Thunes hologram will be rehearsing the band.

Purportedly, the real Thunes and fellow Clonemeister Arthur Barrow are both in for this project.

Wow. Thanks for this. This is a must hear. Ahmet goes into all sorts of details about the beef with Dweezil for the first time.

Ahmet speaks....

Ahmet Zappa Issues Statement In Response To Dweezil Zappa’s Blog Posts

Seems pretty sincere and reasonable to me. Hopefully they can resolve their issues, both business and personal.

To me, the more I like an artist (and Frank is probably #1 for music with me), the less I'm interested in reading the behind the scenes stuff.

How special! Was he mad at you? What would make him shit in your garage?

I got a chuckle when Ahmet contrasted his moving out of the house when he was 18 or 19 and Dweezil not moving out until he was 36.

Even if someone could add Artificial Intelligence to the Hologram.....how could this be any good? There was only one Frank. On the Dio hologram link the video showed a hologram performance.....and it was made to promote the company that made the show in an embarrassing way that I'd bet Dio would have hated. So is (the fake) Frank Zappa going to be flying a flag with Hologram Incorporated written on it and saying, "You'll love it ....it's a way of life!"? UGH!

^ Oh, the irony.

The FZ hologram is a complete joke but it's no more "fake Frank' then DZ.

Fuck 'em all. These people can't stand on their own legs. Always using FZ to prop themselves up. Fuck 'em.

I just don't see the harm in going to see a bunch of awesome musician play with a Frank Zappa Hologram...could have some fun and enjoyable moments if it's well done, we should embrace the technology and the band...

BTW I always have a great time at DZ shows I make every effort to see him including going to shows out of state...

I'll probably go if it comes around. If FZ is involved in some way, I usually show up. But the whole thing has a bit of a creepy feel to it. Watching the Ronnie James Dio hologram was fucking weird.

Will women throw their underpants at the hologram?
