You all may remember that Diesle guy, he had many names and accounts, Darn Accordings, Obler X, and others. His post were very attack like and him and KK were ready to meet at a show and have a throw down...lol...

I ran into him at a show and he was really nice, we were going to meet up in Reno and he and his son had to cancel and he called me and gave me his VIP tickets for free... :)

I had talked to him on the phone a couple times and he was a really good guy, I sometimes wonder if he still hangs around under another name. Last time I and the Kap recognized him and we're sure it was him he was going by Little Salley... :smoke:

DMT and the new ZPZ Dvd w/George Duke need to be at the merch table. They are missing out on a lot of quick sales, for sure.

He really tried to make amends at the end. I think he was going through some real hard personal stuff that, in part, led him to act the way he did. I could relate as in the wake of my divorce and resultant financial distress some years ago I was using the internet as a place to vent and I posted some regrettable stuff both here and on Dweezil's site (eventually leading to my dismissal from DZ World). I met him way back in 2009 at that Ike Willis/Pojama People show and he was indeed, a pretty nice guy in person.

Yeah, what are the chances they have these on the table by 2nd US leg in July? Those & DZ's solo album I'd have to get.

no they didn't have it.

and one other thing i forgot to mention... the OSFA shirt was absolutely one of the ugliest shirts i've ever seen. totally horrible. it had was too many words and graphics all over it, way too busy. the front would have been so much better if it was more understated with just a picture of the sofa and the hand and a just the name Frank Zappa. i am so mad that i forgot to take a pic.

This one?

Here's an idea. A ZPZ 10th anniversary t-shirt.

I might be alone on this, but I've been thinking the show might be even better if OSFA closed the night out instead of opening.
Status Back Baby thru Sinister 2 - then OSFA - then the encores. Just my 2 cents.

Before the tour started I stated somewhere on here that Sofa#2 would be a great way to end the show before the encores. Of course they played the whole album first. They always have.

Very nice, jayp!

My 2 older sons weren't/aren't even remotely interested in Zappa in any way. But there's still hope for the youngsters.

Nice Chunga's shirt.

Status Back Baby would be an absolute SHIT opener. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

True that. How 'bout a totally revamped 1st set of random songs covering all eras, then One Size Fits All, then the encores?

All I know is that Marqueson's Chicken, Filthy Habits, Mammy Anthem, & Clowns On Velvet need to be featured before ZPZ retires.

The more I think about OSFA as the second set, the more I like the idea.

I was fortunate to hear Filthy Habits at the show I attended last March.

Don't know if the above is accurate or not?! If it is, it might be because it was a festival gig and they had a shorter allotment for their set, so they curtailed it?!

If I recall the setlist in Atlanta on the 18th was the same as the 21st. It was my first Zappa show so I was caught up in it and didn't take time to note the whole set.
